Following in the footsteps of its standard counterpart, the MG Windsor EV Pro has received an impressive market response, racking up over 8,000 bookings within just 24 hours of bookings opening. It is now priced at Rs 18.09 lakh (ex-showroom). For those opting for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, the price drops to Rs 13.09 lakh, with an additional charge of Rs 4.5/km for battery usage. Notably, the top-of-the-line Pro variant, based on the Essence trim, was launched at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh, with an affordable BaaS option available at Rs 12.50 lakh, including the same battery rental rate.

The Pro variant of the Windsor EV shares the same power and torque specifications as the standard model but comes with a larger 52.9kWh battery, compared to the 38kWh unit. This upgrade results in a significantly improved range of 449 kilometres, offering a substantial increase over the standard Windsor EV’s 332-kilometre range.
The Pro version comes in three new colours: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. It also has new stylish diamond-cut wheels. Inside, the model gets a dual-tone theme, featuring beige highlights on the seats, door trims, and headliner, and a bold black finish on the dashboard and surrounding surfaces. It retains a host of advanced features such as an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, and ventilated front seats. For added comfort, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, and aero-style rear seats with reclining functionality are also included.

The Pro version includes an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, with functions such as emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. It also has Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) capabilities.
