Limited to just 15 units, the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition features exclusive styling details like some delicate pin stripes on the bonnet, geometric design on the soft-top and more. Mini has brought this limited-edition model via the CBU route

The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is now on sale in India at Rs 44.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Brought into India via the CBU route, Mini will only bring 15 units of the Sidewalk Edition to India. Customers can book this special edition variant of the Mini Convertible exclusively on the company’s official website.

Differences from the standard trim include signature Mini stripes on the bonnet accompanied by a delicate pin stripes, soft-top with a geometric pattern and Sidewalk badge with some graphics next to the front wheel arches. The dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels are also exclusive to this model. The Deep Laguna Metallic shade is also exclusive to the Sidewalk Edition. On the inside, the car features Mini Yours Leather Lounge Sidewalk seats that have braided piping in ‘dark petrol’ shade. The steering wheel also flaunts the Sidewalk emblem. Safety features in the Sidewalk Edition include a crash sensor, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, brake assist, and of course, dual front airbags, and ABS.

Powering the Sidewalk Edition is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol motor that churns out 189bhp and 280Nm. It is capable of dismission the 100km/h dash in just 7.1 seconds, and touches a top-speed of 230km/h.            

Aside from the launch of the Mini Sidewalk Edition, BMW India has also announced a hike in the of 3 percent, across its model range. This revised price will come into effect from 1st November.
