Maruti Suzuki is all geared up to launch one of the most eagerly-awaited models of the year, the five-door Jimny, in India tomorrow. For those who are unaware, the brand-new off-roader made its global debut in January this year at the 2023 Auto Expo. Soon after, the automaker started accepting bookings for the SUV at a token amount of Rs 11,000. However, owing to its popularity and high demand, this amount was eventually increased to Rs 25,000. The SUV will be available for purchase through the company's high-end Nexa dealerships. Up to this point, Suzuki, the parent company of Maruti, has sold more than 3.2 million Jimny three-door versions worldwide. This is the first time that the company is adding a five-door model to its lineup. In the SUV market, the Jimny is anticipated to compete with the upcoming Mahindra Thar. With just a day left for the Jimny to go on sale, here's everything you need to know about it.
