Jeep has globally unveiled the third-generation Compass (2025), featuring a redesigned exterior, advanced tech, and upgraded performance as part of its bold new strategy. While the brand originates from the US, Jeep will launch this SUV in Europe first, with deliveries expected by the end of 2025. Built on the STLA Medium platform, the new Compass retains only its silhouette—everything else has been thoroughly redesigned.
With hybrid and electric powertrains on offer, Jeep aims to appeal to buyers seeking advanced, eco-friendly SUVs.
The new Jeep Compass features a refreshed design inspired by the Jeep Avenger. The SUV now sports sharper LED headlamps, slimmer air intakes, and a more rugged bumper design. While it maintains its tough SUV character, the styling has been modernised for a sleeker look.
Jeep has also given the Compass wider wheel arches and shorter overhangs for a more dynamic stance. Top-spec variants come with 20-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its appeal and road presence.
The 2025 Compass boasts a completely revamped interior packed with smart features. It includes a large 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Unlike many competitors that rely solely on touch controls, Jeep has retained physical buttons and a rotary dial for ease of use.
Premium touches include metal-look trim accents, contrast stitching, and leather upholstery. The cabin also features a dual-pane sunroof and a head-up display, blending comfort with cutting-edge technology.
Jeep offers multiple powertrain options for the new Compass, including a 143bhp mild-hybrid and a 192bhp plug-in hybrid. Additionally, there are three fully electric variants to cater to different driving preferences.
The electric lineup includes a front-wheel-drive model with 210bhp and a 500km (WLTP) range, as well as a high-performance all-wheel-drive version producing 370bhp with up to 650km of range. A 160 kW DC fast charger can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
