At the X-Trail unveiling event, Nissan India revealed its plans to launch four new models, along with the facelifted Magnite. The new models are an entry-level EV built on the CMF-AEV platform, a compact 5-seater SUV, a midsize 7-seater SUV, and a three-row compact MPV. The first one to be launched out of these 5 models is the Magnite facelift. That much, we all knew.

In a recent development, the company has disclosed the launch date of the updated Magnite – October 4, 2024. The existing Nissan Magnite went on sale in December 2020 in our market, and ever since then, the vehicle has remained largely untouched. But, that is going to change. Upon arrival, the upcoming Magnite will get exterior and interior upgrades as well as additional features to keep pace with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and the Kia Sonet.
