Porsche has revealed the 911 Spirit 70, a limited-edition version of the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet. It takes inspiration from the 1970s with retro-style paint, bold racing stripes, and the classic ‘Pasha’ pattern inside. Only 1,500 cars will be made for the global market. The 911 Spirit 70 combines classic design with modern performance, making it a rare find for collectors and Porsche fans.
As part of Porsche’s Heritage Design series, the 911 Spirit 70 follows the 2020 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, which revived the aesthetics of the 1950s and ‘60s. By revisiting classic eras with modern craftsmanship, Porsche reinforces its legacy while delivering a truly distinctive driving experience. The 911 Spirit 70 stands as both a nod to the past and a celebration of the brand’s enduring innovation.

Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche: 'The Heritage Design models occupy a special position within our product strategy from a design perspective. The limited-edition sports cars visualise what makes the Porsche brand so special. Every design of our vehicles ties in with our history - these vehicles go one step further. They show how we reinterpret historical design elements in a state-of- the-art sports car.'
The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 comes with colours inspired by the 1970s. It features a deep green called Olive Neo, made just for this model. This is matched with Bronzite, a gold-grey shade used on the lower parts of the car and its classic ‘Fuchs-style' wheels. A black soft top and windscreen frame complete the design, giving the car a bold and classic look.
This special edition also includes retro styling to honour Porsche’s past. Three racing stripes run across the front, ending in “911” decals on the bumper. A version of the old 1963 Porsche badge is used on the front, while the doors feature vintage-style graphics and racing numbers. Every detail has been chosen to celebrate Porsche’s design history, making the 911 Spirit 70 a standout car for fans of the brand.
The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 has an interior that combines classic 1970s style with modern technology. The Pasha pattern, first used by Porsche in the '70s, appears on the seats, door panels, and other areas. It comes in a black and Olive Neo colour scheme to match the car’s exterior, with the option to add this design to the seat backs and dashboard for a stronger retro look.
The interior also features modern touches with a vintage feel. The 12.65-inch digital display looks like classic gauges with white needles, scale lines, and green numbers, inspired by the Porsche 356. The Sport Chrono stopwatch also has green digits and white hands. The digital rev counter and other details mix Porsche’s history with today’s technology, giving the car a timeless, yet modern, feel.
The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 is powered by the T-Hybrid powertrain from the Carrera GTS, combining a turbocharged 3.6-litre flat-six engine and electric motor to deliver 526bhp and 609Nm of torque.
