Expect other manufacturers to follow the bandwagon as Renault and Tata kickstart the proceedings this year

In most regions across the country, monsoons are extremely intense – not just for the common man but also for their cars. Vehicles take a huge hit during the rainy season which is why it is important for you to get them checked before the monsoon sets in – the last thing you want is for your car to give up on you while it is raining cats and dogs with no mechanic in near sight. Manufacturers acknowledge this and organise monsoon service camps every year to ensure that your car is ready to take on the monsoons. This year, Renault and Tata are the first manufacturers to announce monsoon service camps.

Renault has organised its monsoon camp across all its dealerships across the country. The French car maker’s camp has commenced today and will continue till 25th June 2017. During this time, Renault will offer its customers a free check-up at any of their dealerships. These check-ups will be made by technicians as per the car maker’s guidelines. If your car is due for service or is demanding certain parts to be replaced, Renault is also offering up to 15 percent discounts on select parts and heavy discounts on labour charges too. Aside from all of these benefits, Renault is also providing exclusive offers on insurance renewals and certain tyre brands. Customers also get a complimentary car wash as part of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Tata is scheduled to organise a similar ‘Monsoon Mega Service Camp’ in July. As part of the check-up campaign, Tata Motors Service will conduct a 40-point check-up free of cost for all its customers. Just like Renault, Tata too will be offering some discounts on spares and labour charges. The company will also cater to remote areas with the help of mobile service vans. Last year, Tata checked more than 3.6 lakh cars as part of their monsoon check-up camp.
