Rolls-Royce has launched the Spectre Black Badge in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.50 crore. The grand tourer has already made its debut in the International market, and is the first-ever electric Rolls-Royce to get the Black Badge version. It is a darker and more aggressive version of the standard Spectre, featuring blacked-out elements such as Rolls-Royce badges, Pantheon grille, Spirit of Ecstasy logo, and a side window trim. The 23-inch five-spoke forged aluminum wheels complete the look of the model.
Commenting on the occasion, Irene Nikkein, Regional Director Asia-Pacific, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, 'As the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created, Black Badge Spectre embodies the spirit of those who dare to challenge convention and define luxury on their own terms. Black Badge is not simply a motor car—it is an audacious alter ego, crafted for innovators, trailblazers, and rule-breakers who seek both peerless performance and the freedom of personal expression. With its bold design, advanced technology, and limitless Bespoke possibilities, Black Badge Spectre is designed for India’s new generation of visionaries—individuals who demand the extraordinary and are unafraid to make a statement that is uniquely their own.'
The Spectre Black Badge's interior boasts a 'Starlight' illuminated dashboard, which uses 5,500 individual lights to create a beautiful, glowing pattern.
It also includes a digital instrument cluster that comes with customisable colour themes.

The Spectre Black Badge is a beefed-up version of the standard model. With two electric motors, one on each axle, the grand tourer produces a whopping power output of 650bhp, an increase of about 73bhp over the standard Spectre. It delivers a torque of 1,075Nm, marking a rise of 175Nm. The added power is supported by a new infinity mode for sharper throttle response and a sportier drive. For faster acceleration, there's a Spirited Drive mode that acts as a launch control. The car has a 102kWh battery, and a range (claimed) spanning between 493 kilometres to 530 kilometres. The 0-100km/h acceleration time stands at 4.1 seconds.

The grand tourer also comes with upgraded steering and suspension. While the dampers have been adjusted to reduce body roll in corners and prevent the rear from dipping during acceleration, the steering is made heavier for more stability.
