Alto, Swift and Dzire are among the six Maruti-Suzuki cars that have made it to the list.
November proved to be highly successful for the Japanese and Korean car manufacturers in India. In the top 10 selling cars in November, there are six Maruti-Suzuki cars, three from Hyundai and one Honda. Also, interesting is the fact that Honda City outsold Maruti-Suzuki Ciaz by 2020 units which is pretty impressive considering the mid-size sedan category.
Maruti Alto topped the list with 24,201 units which was followed by another family member, Swift, with 17,900 units. Wagon R came third with 13,545 units, Dzire scored 12,020 marks and grabbed the fourth spot whereas the Car of the Year Elite i20 came fifth with 10,552 units. Hyundai Grand i10 was sixth scoring 8,396 numbers and Honda City sold 7,252 units and took the seventh spot. Hyundai Eon selling 6,626 units, Maruti Ciaz selling 5,232 and Celerio with 4,926 units took eighth, ninth and tenth spot respectively.
This is a good news for Honda as in October, Maruti Ciaz outstripped Honda City by 1,225 units. Alto was the champion back then too, but Swift sprung back from fourth spot in October to claim the second one in November.
