Skoda announced that it has received over 1,000 bookings for the new Octavia which was launched on the 3rd of October. Skoda has also enabled online bookings for the car, thus catering to a larger audience.
Sudhir Rao, managing director, Skoda India, said, “The Octavia is the heart of our brand and is our attempt to give customers one of the best offerings in the country.” Even Pawel Szuflak, director, sales and marketing, Skoda India, was extremely happy with the response and said “We are delighted with the wonderful response that the Octavia has got from the market. Prices for the new Octavia start at Rs 13.95 lakh for the 1.4 petrol Active, with the top-of-the-line 2.0 TDI Elegance costing Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). We’ve driven the car and here’s our review.
