Skoda Vision 7S Production Spec Electric SUV Teased Ahead of Debut
In terms of market competition, the production version of the Skoda Vision 7S EV will go up against the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and the Kia EV9.

Skoda has unveiled a teaser for its upcoming seven-seater electric SUV, which will be the production-ready iteration of the Vision 7S Concept. Positioned as a flagship EV, this new model is expected to showcase Skoda’s latest design language, advanced technology, and a spacious three-row cabin. The Vision 7S Concept, first revealed in 2022, hinted at a bold, futuristic aesthetic with a focus on sustainability and aerodynamics. The production-spec version will likely feature a high-capacity battery, offering an impressive driving range suitable for long journeys. As Skoda expands its electric portfolio, this SUV aims to cater to families and adventure seekers looking for a practical yet eco-friendly mobility solution. More details, including its official name and specifications, are anticipated soon.
Skoda Vision 7S: Teaser Highlights
The teaser images indicate that the final production model will retain several design elements from the original concept, particularly in its lighting signature. The headlamps and taillights continue to feature a distinctive T-shaped LED arrangement. At the front, Skoda’s Tech Deck face is highlighted by a sealed grille with integrated illumination along the upper section.

While the concept’s slim, camera-based wing mirrors have been replaced with conventional ones, the overall styling remains largely unchanged. The rear end also stays true to the concept’s design, incorporating a split-style spoiler, muscular side panels, and a streamlined, flat roof. Another notable detail is the bold ‘SKODA’ lettering in black, prominently displayed on the tailgate, giving the SUV a modern and refined look.
Skoda Vision 7S: Platform and Battery Pack
The new seven-seater e-SUV is expected to utilise the MEB EV platform that underpins all of the brand’s electric vehicles. Reports indicate that this model envisioned as an electric alternative to the Skoda Kodiaq, will span approximately 4,760mm in length. It has been officially confirmed that the SUV will be powered by an 89kWh battery pack, capable of delivering a range exceeding 600km on a single charge. Additionally, the battery will support ultra-fast charging of up to 200kW, allowing it to recharge from 10% to 80% in just about 30 minutes.

Showcased at this year’s Bharat Mobility Show, the Vision 7S concept featured a bold black and green cabin design, accented with vibrant orange highlights that extended to the seat upholstery. The interior followed a three-row configuration, featuring bucket-style seats with integrated headrests and distinctive orange seat belts. Among its standout interior elements were a uniquely styled two-spoke steering wheel bearing the ‘Skoda’ logo, a vertically positioned touchscreen, and electrically adjustable seats in both the front and middle rows. An augmented reality (AR) heads-up display further reinforced its futuristic character. A key highlight of the concept was its entirely button-free dashboard, enhancing its sleek and minimalist appeal. Meanwhile, the centre console housed three rotary dials designed for intuitive control of infotainment, climate settings, and volume.
In terms of market competition, the Skoda EV will go up against the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and the Kia EV9. As for its arrival in India, the electric SUV is expected to make its market debut in 2027.
