Tata Motors is set to introduce the first major facelift of the Altroz hatchback since its debut in 2019. In anticipation of the official launch, the company has released teasers showcasing refreshed exterior and interior elements, hinting at a more premium and tech-forward experience. The design updates suggest sleeker styling cues and enhanced cabin features aimed at elevating the overall appeal of the hatchback. Despite the visual and feature upgrades, the Altroz is likely to retain its current engine lineup. Once launched, the revamped Altroz will continue to lock horns with the Hyundai i20, the Toyota Glanza, and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The updated Altroz seems to maintain its recognisable design while adding a bold and modern twist, both inside and out. Up front, it gets a revamped grille adorned with silver highlights, a sportier bumper housing a larger air intake, and sharp twin-pod LED headlamps flanked by stylish DRLs and integrated fog lamps set within sculpted surrounds. There are flush door handles at the front and a fresh alloy wheel design. The rear includes connected LED taillamps and a repositioned reverse light, all contributing to a sharper, more futuristic look.
The cabin of the all-new Tata Altroz shows a cleaner and more refined layout that builds on the strengths of its predecessor. One of the notable highlights is the redesigned dashboard, with a fully integrated touchscreen infotainment system, set within a high-gloss black panel that adds a premium touch.

The traditional dual-part display has been replaced by a modern-looking, fully digital instrument cluster. Other prominent changes include a shift-by-wire gear selector and redesigned two-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata emblem.
The updated Tata Altroz will likely offer ventilated front seats and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with customisable displays for navigation, media, and vehicle info. The wireless charging, 8-speaker Harman audio system, and sunroof, however, will continue to be offered.
The Altroz will reportedly retain its safety kit, including a 360-degree camera, six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and ABS with EBD.
The all-new Tata Altroz will likely retain its existing wide range of powertrain choices. The first is a 1.2-litre petrol producing 86.7bhp and 115Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT. The second option is a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 89bhp and 200Nm with a 6-speed manual.
