Tata Motors launched eight new vehicles in an attempt to tell the automotive industry and the customers out there, that they have a new strategy in place and they are beginning afresh.

Even Karl Slym, MD, Tata Motors admitted saying, "We know the problems that we have faced earlier and we are better in tune with our customers and our products now. We dont want to be out of the competition and we are looking for a podium finish this time. We all at Tata Motors are passionate about cars and we will deliver this through our new products,"

Sadly, there were no new products on offer but Tata Motors brought the entire media fraternity from across the country under one roof (their Pune plant) and launched facelifts of the Indigo eCS, Sumo Gold, Nano and the Indica eV2.

Launched in new colour, graphics and improvisation in suspension setup and handling capabilities, Tata Motors has worked not only on the exterior but also on the interiors. Better upholstery and multimedia entertainment options and a feather-shift gearbox will now up the quotient for the customers of Tata Motors.

Beside these facelifts, Tata also showcased the new CNG variants or what they call the e-max range. This range includes the Indica CNG, Indigo CNG and Nano CNG. Tata plans to launch all these cars in the next 90 days so expect the CNG versions out soon enough.

Tata Motors also showcased the all new Safari Storme Explorer which will come with an option of two body kits and a 2-DIN music system. This Explorer edition will cost Rs. 56000 more than the current available variants in the Safari Storme range.
