Volvo EX30: Exterior Styling

Volvo EX30 2

The Scandinavian automaker hasn't revealed extensively about the exterior of the forthcoming SUV, but in previously released teasers, the new electric product from Volvo showed to follow the larger EX90 in terms of design. It will reportedly have a multi-LED arrangement, the most recent iteration of Volvo's distinctive Thor hammer headlight design. Aside from this, a multi-LED signature will likely be added to the taillamp, similar to the EX90, at the rear. The tailboard will presumably get an upright shape, and the LED taillamps will reach onto the C-pillar.

Volvo EX30: Powertrain

Volvo has not spilled beans on the powertrain of the future EV. According to several market reports, the upcoming all-electric SUV is likely to come equipped with a 51kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) pack and a 69kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese (NMC) battery. This will enable it to claim a range of roughly 480–500 kilometres when using the EPA cycle. Exact information on the battery and range is most likely to be revealed at the global premiere.
