Bajaj sold 3.18 lakh two-wheelers in April 2025, registering a marginal decline from the 3.42 lakh units sold a year earlier. Of this total, 1.89 lakh units were sold in the domestic market—a 13% drop from the 2.17 lakh units sold during the same period last year, signaling weaker demand on the home front. Bajaj’s commercial vehicle segment showed positive momentum in April 2025, supported by a stable domestic performance and robust export growth. The company sold 32,000 units in the domestic market, nearly matching last year’s figure of 32,133 units. Exports, however, surged by 11% year-on-year to 15,873 units from 14,334 units in April 2024. In total, Bajaj sold 47,873 commercial vehicles during the month, reflecting a 3% increase over the 46,467 units sold in the same period last year.
Bajaj Auto recorded combined sales of 3.66 lakh units across both its two-wheeler (2W) and commercial vehicle (CV) segments, reflecting a 6% decline compared to the 3.88 lakh units sold in April 2024. The decline can be attributed mainly to a sharp 11% drop in domestic sales, which totalled 2.21 lakh units, while exports provided a silver lining, growing by 4% to 1.45 lakh units.
