Buddh International Circuit is hosting an Open Track Day on February 22, giving motoring enthusiasts a chance to drive their road cars and bikes around the 5.1 km Formula 1 track.

Car fanatics will be charged Rs 5,000 for one session while the bikers will have to shell out Rs 4,000 from their pockets to drive around India’s only FIA Grade 1 facility. Each session lasts for 45 minutes. At a maximum, a driver or rider can opt for three such sessions at subsequent price.

In addition, one may take ‘race prepared’ Volkswagen Polo cars for a spin for a rather hefty price tag of Rs 17,000 per session. Those who prefer to take the back seat are also well taken care of, with a Mercedes-Benz taxi ride available for Rs 1,500 per lap.

Due to limited seats, all payments must be made in advance to the owners of the circuit, Jaypee Sports International Ltd.

All drivers and riders must wear proper safety equipment while their vehicles themselves must pass the technical inspection.
