Hyundai Motor India Ltd., recorded a total sales of 58,201 units in April 2023 as opposed to 56,201 units in April 2022, representing a borderline increase of 3.5%. Domestically, the firm sold 49,701 units in April 2023, up from 44,001 units delivered in April 2022, which gave it a growth of 12.95%. In the export segment, the company's sales dropped to 8,500 units last month from 12,200 units in April 2022, depicting a YoY decline of 30.3%. According to the firm, it's best-selling offering the previous month was the Hyundai Creta. It outperformed its rival - the Kia Seltos, registering a sale of 14,186 units. The sales figures for April 2023 paint a complicated picture of growth and production control to satisfy local market demand. According to the firm, its domestic sales have increased, as a result, of the emphasis on new launches, vehicle improvements, and more.

Hyundai Motor India April Sales 2023: Company Vision
According to Hyundai, its solid double-digit domestic market growth in April is an outcome of a favourable response to the recently launched all-new Hyundai Verna in our market. The carmaker believes that the upcoming Hyundai Exter SUV, will garner more attention in the market and help maintain domestic growth. According to the carmaker, models such as the Creta, the Venue, and more are major growth contributors. In the future, the firm believes that these cars along with new launches and several product upgrades will enable it to keep traction in the domestic market.

Hyundai Exter Micro SUV
The South Korean automaker will reportedly launch the Hyundai Exter micro SUV in the country sometime soon. According to the company, the brand-new car will join the firm's SUV range, which currently has the Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line, Creta, Alcazar, Kona Electric, Tucson, and Ioniq 5. Right now, details about its launch date and features are unknown. However, the carmaker has officially teased the front-end design of the SUV ahead of its launch in India. As can be seen in the official teaser, the upcoming car will feature Hyundai's current Sensuous Sportiness design language.
