Goodyear India has launched the Assurance TripleMax 2 range of tyres in India.

In addition to celebrating Goodyear’s 120th anniversary, Goodyear India has launched the Assurance TripleMax 2 range of tyres, which will be available in 10 sizes. Goodyear has priced this new range between ₹4,000 and 7,000.

After launching the Assurance TripleMax in India, Goodyear India has now introduced the second version of the tyre range. Available in 10 different sizes, the Assurance TripleMax 2 will be available in R14, R15 and R16 variants.

Goodyear claims that this range has been developed to improve the safety and durability of the tyre. Additionally, it has been designed to provide optimum grip and a shorter braking distance even in wet conditions, while also allowing for a comfortable ride.

P K Walia, Vice-President (Consumer Business), commented at the launch, ‘This year we are celebrating our 120th anniversary, which marks a significant milestone for Goodyear. From the first tires on the moon to the first tubeless tires in India, Goodyear has always been at the forefront of technological innovation, and we aspire to design and to produce more high-performance tires with ground-breaking technologies. We are confident that new Assurance TripleMax 2 will allow drivers to experience better wet braking and handling performance.”

New Assurance TripleMax 2 with HydroTred Technology has been improved to deliver better performances with improved wet breaking and innovative compound formulation. A larger contact patch allows for better grip and results in better handling, offering a comfortable ride with significant reduction in tyre noise. There’s also a new tread pattern and two-layer reinforcement side wall to increase resistance to sidewall impacts.

The Assurance TripleMax 2 will be available at Goodyear retail outlets from August 2018 in the following tyre sizes:
