Jnaneswar Sen resigns from his position at Honda Cars India.

In the midst of a major management overhaul, Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Honda Cars India Ltd. – Jnaneswar Sen has stepped down from his role.

When asked about the management change at the organisation, HCIL officially has stated that they will be making a formal announcement for the structural change on April 2, 2018. Earlier in February, Honda had appointed Gaku Nakanishi as President & CEO of HCIL who will assume his role from April 1, 2018.

Sen has been an integral part of HCIL’s journey being associated with the Japanese manufacturer since 2006 prior to which he completed a 15-year stint at Maruti Udyog. Sen has played a key part in Honda’s journey with the introduction of many models like the Jazz, Amaze sub-4-metre sedan, the CR-V SUV, the WR-V crossover and the latest generations of the ever popular Honda City. While we await the final confirmation from Honda themselves, Sen’s future in the industry is still uncertain.

As the company will officially make their structural changes public in the coming days, it is also believed that many other major executives positions within the company will be revised under the leadership of the new President and CEO.

Stay tuned for further updates which are expected to be announced formally on Monday, April 2, 2018.
