The Hyundai i10 has reached a significant global sales milestone, surpassing 30 lakh units since its debut. Over 20 lakh units have been sold in India, with 13 lakh units exported to over 140 nations. Key export destinations include Chile, Peru, and South Africa. The i10 range, now celebrating its 18th year, comprises three distinct generations: the i10, Grand i10, and Grand i10 Nios. Over the years, it has become one of Hyundai's most successful models, particularly popular in markets like India and Europe. Known for its compact design, fuel efficiency, and affordability, the i10 has undergone several updates to meet the evolving needs of customers. Its sustained sales reflect a strong balance of practicality, reliability, and features that appeal to urban drivers. This milestone underscores Hyundai's strong presence in the small car segment and solidifies the i10’s role as a key model in the brand’s global lineup.

Commenting on the sales milestone, Unsoo Kim, Managing Director, HMIL, said- 'We are proud of the landmark achievement of surpassing 3 million cumulative sales of HMIL's brand i10. With over 2 million units sold in India and over 1.3 million units exported to global markets, brand i10 stands as a shining example of HMIL's commitment to delivering world-class products. What makes this milestone even more special is the fact that the current generation of i10 has achieved up to 91.3% localization for the domestic market, while it is 91.4% for the export models.'
The Grand i10 Nios is available in two fuel options: petrol and a CNG bi-fuel version that comes with a factory-fitted CNG kit, offering greater range and better fuel efficiency compared to the petrol-only variant. Powering the car is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, capable of delivering up to 82bhp and 114Nm of torque.
In the CNG mode, however, output drops to 68bhp and 95.2Nm. Unlike single-cylinder setups, the bi-fuel model features twin-cylinder tanks with an integrated electronic control unit (ECU), allowing for smooth switching between petrol and CNG.
The petrol version is offered with both a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission, while the bi-fuel model is paired exclusively with a five-speed manual gearbox.
For added comfort and convenience, the model includes a multi-information display (MID), tilt steering, a 3.5-inch speedometer with a TPMS display, wireless phone charging, footwell lighting, a Type C fast USB charger, fully automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen audio system with smartphone navigation. The cabin also features premium touches like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, grey upholstery with Nios embossing and piping, a smart key with push-button start/stop, and metal-finished inside door handles.
