In a move toward expanding its car subscription program, Maruti Suzuki India has today officially partnered with SMAS Auto Leasing India Pvt. Ltd. To that effect, SMAS is now the fifth partner to offer white plate subscriptions for a range of Maruti Suzuki vehicles. Apart from SMAS, the subscription service is also available through Orix, ALD Automotive, Quicklyz by Mahindra Finance, and Myles. The car subscription program - Maruti Suzuki Subscribe - was launched as a pilot project in Gurugram and Bengaluru in July 2020. It allows customers to lease a Maruti car for a certain period, rather than buy one. And, it targets those customers who expect flexible car subscription options through multiple partners at competitive rates.
