McLaren Crosses 50 Unit Sales Milestone in India

McLaren marked the latest milestone with a celebration drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu and back, flagged off by Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at Manak Chowk.

McLaren has reached a significant milestone in India, having delivered 50 vehicles in the country. To celebrate this achievement, the British luxury automaker organised an exclusive Celebration Drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu and back, giving McLaren owners the opportunity to explore the picturesque landscapes of Rajasthan, while marking a significant chapter in the brand's growth in India. The event was inaugurated by Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at the iconic Manak Chowk. The latest milestone highlights McLaren's success in catering to the high-performance sports car segment in India and demonstrates the increasing demand for luxury automobiles in the country. With a reputation for cutting-edge technology and performance, McLaren continues to establish itself as a leader in the luxury car market.

Sharing his thoughts at the event, Lalit Choudary, Dealer Principal, McLaren Mumbai said, 'We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone of over 50 McLarens in India, a testament to the growing passion and enthusiasm for the brand in this region. This achievement underscores the trust and excitement our customers have in McLaren’s unmatched engineering and design. We are proud to have built a vibrant community of supercar enthusiasts across the country and look forward to continuing this journey. With 2025 poised to be another strong year for McLaren in India, we are excited about the opportunities to further elevate the supercar experience for our customers.'

McLaren India Lineup

When McLaren entered the Indian market, it rolled out several models, including the Artura, 720S, and GT, to meet the growing demand for premium, high-performance sports cars. The GT, the brand's most affordable offering, starts at Rs 3.72 crore, whereas the 750S, the priciest model in the lineup, is available at Rs 5.91 crore. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.

The Artura is powered by a 3.0-litre Twin-Turbo V6 petrol engine, delivering 577bhp and 584Nm of torque. Paired with an electric motor that contributes an extra 94bhp and 225Nm, the total combined output is 671bhp and 804Nm. The power is transferred through an eight-speed automated transmission. The supercar accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3 seconds, 0 to 200km/h in 8.3 seconds, and 0 to 300km/h in 21.5 seconds, with a top speed of 330km/h.

The 750S, equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged M480T V8 engine, churns out 740bhp of maximum power and 800Nm of peak torque. The model sports dual fuel pumps, lighter 765LT pistons, and upgraded turbochargers. Its seven-speed sequential automatic transmission is optimised with shorter final drive ratios.

The McLaren GT features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 unit, producing 612bhp and 630Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds.
