The Magnite, Nissan's mid-size SUV, has surpassed the 1.5 lakh-unit cumulative sales milestone. It went on sale in December 2020, and nearly four years later, it achieved the milestone. Having sold 30,146 units of the Magnite SUV in FY2023-24, Nissan Motor India dispatched 2,404 examples in April 2024. After 3 straight months of decline in domestic sales, Nissan witnessed a slight increase in sales last month, during which 2,263 units of the Magnite were sold, registering a YoY growth of 0.2%. Meanwhile, exports stood at 8,361 units (336% YoY growth), taking the model's total wholesale sales to 10,624 units for August 2024. This is what Nissan says is the highest monthly wholesale sales it has achieved so far in FY2024 and the highest monthly export volume in the last five years.

'The month of August has been remarkable despite the decline in overall Total Industry Volume (TIV). However, the combined efforts of the Nissan Motor India team along with our dealer partners have delivered great results for the company and customers. The renewed strategy of Nissan’s focus on domestic and export business is delivering great results for India,' said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India.
He further added, 'The Nissan Magnite is proof that a robust platform, timeless product, and enhanced customer centricity can continue to deliver consistent outcomes, which is evident in the 1.5 lakh milestone that Nissan has crossed this month.'

The company offers the Magnite in different configurations: XE, XL, XV, XV Premium, Kuro Edition, and Geza Edition.
