Renault India has announced a new 3-year/1 lakh km warranty for its popular models – the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber. The updated warranty will be available for all Renault vehicles from January 1, 2025. Furthermore, the French carmaker has unveiled new extended warranty plans that provide coverage for as long as seven years or with no limit on mileage. This warranty aims to boost customer confidence and offer better value for money in the competitive Indian market.
The extended coverage will include major vehicle components, ensuring customers have a more reliable and worry-free ownership experience. By introducing this warranty, Renault hopes to strengthen its presence in India and attract more buyers looking for long-term durability and peace of mind with their vehicles. This move is expected to improve the appeal of the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber among prospective customers.

Extended Warranty Packages
The following are the available extended warranty packages from Renault India:
- four years or 1,00,000 km
- five years or 1,20,000 km
- six years or 1,40,000 km
- seven years or unlimited km

Renault Kwid, Kiger, and Triber: Mechanical Details
Ranging between Rs 4.70 lakh and 6.45 lakh, the Kwid hatchback employs a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, petrol mill which puts out 67bhp of maximum power and 91Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
The Kiger compact SUV is offered with two engine choices: a 72bhp, 1.0-litre petrol engine and a 100bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, each paired with its respective gearbox. The price range starts at Rs 6 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.23 lakh.

The Renault Triber is equipped with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, producing 72bhp and 96Nm of peak torque. It offers two transmission choices: a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. The MPV is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 8.98 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
