Thar, Scorpio-N, Bolero and More Help Mahindra Register 19% YoY Sales Growth in February
Mahindra's February 2025 sales data highlight a strong 19% rise in SUV sales, with 50,420 units sold in the domestic market.

Mahindra sold a total of 83,702 vehicles in February 2025, reflecting a 15% year-on-year increase, including exports. A significant contributor to this growth was the SUV segment, with domestic sales soaring to 50,420 units, marking a 19% rise from the 42,401 units sold in the same month last year. Total utility vehicle (UV) sales, including exports, reached 52,386 units. The export market emerged as a key highlight, posting an exceptional 99% year-on-year growth, as Mahindra exported 3,061 units—nearly double the 1,539 units exported in February 2024. Additionally, Mahindra's domestic commercial vehicle (CV) sales stood at 23,826 units, showing varied performance across segments.
Other Key Highlights
Last month, Mahindra introduced the Carbon edition of its popular Scorpio-N SUV in India, with prices ranging from Rs 19.19 lakh to Rs 24.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The new edition is available in the 7-seater Z8 and Z8L variants and offers both petrol and diesel engine options, along with the choice of manual or automatic transmissions.

The Scorpio-N Carbon edition's defining trait is its striking all-black aesthetic, which amplifies its rugged and imposing stance. The previously silver front and rear skid plates and door cladding have been redesigned with a sleek dark grey finish, enhancing the SUV’s tough exterior. The door handles now feature a dark chrome accent for a more refined look. In addition, the blacked-out roof rails, ORVMs, alloy wheels, and window cladding elevate the vehicle's commanding and aggressive presence.
Another major highlight in February was the overwhelming demand for Mahindra's electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, which collectively racked up 30,179 bookings on their very first day. This remarkable response translates to an estimated Rs 8,472 crore in ex-showroom sales. Of the total bookings, the XEV 9e captured 56%, while the BE 6 accounted for 44%. The most sought-after variant across both models was the 'Pack Three,' which comes equipped with a 79kWh battery.

The Mahindra BE 6 is priced between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in five variants. The XEV 9e, available in four variants, costs between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh.
