Yamaha India has introduced a new 10-year Total Warranty programme aimed at enhancing post-purchase support and delivering added long-term value to customers. The initiative also commemorates the brand’s 40 years of operations in India. The new warranty package—comprising 2 years of standard coverage and 8 years of extended protection—covers essential components such as the engine, fuel injection system, and electrical parts. It applies across Yamaha’s entire India-manufactured lineup, including scooters like the Ray ZR Fi, Fascino 125 Fi, and Aerox 155 Version S, as well as motorcycles such as the FZ Series, R15, and MT-15.
The warranty offers coverage of up to 1,00,000 kilometres for hybrid scooters and up to 1,25,000 kilometres for motorcycles, making it one of the most comprehensive after-sales support programs in the segment.
Yamaha is currently providing the 10-Year Total Warranty at no extra cost to new buyers for a limited time. Once this introductory window ends, the extended portion of the warranty will be offered at a minimal fee. A standout feature of this programme is its transferability—the warranty remains valid even if the vehicle changes hands, which means that second or third owners can continue to benefit from extended coverage, enhancing the vehicle’s resale value.
