<p>Following the new&nbsp;Avenis 125, <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/suzuki/">Suzuki Motorcycles</a> has released the 2024 models of the&nbsp;Access 125 and Burgman Street. As part of the update, both models get fresh paint job options.&nbsp;The&nbsp;revised Suzuki Access 125 is finished in Metallic Sonoma Red / Pearl Mirage White.&nbsp;Since the colour is a combination of dark&nbsp;red hues with off-white panels, an apron, and tan seat coverings, it looks bold&nbsp;overall. Coming to Burgman Street, the scooter is now available in a new&nbsp;Metallic Matte Black No. 2 shade.&nbsp;The majority of the bodywork is painted matte black, which makes the new colour appear rather fascinating. The maroon panels at the bottom of the side panels and in the middle of the front apron provide some contrast to the overall design.&nbsp;Except for&nbsp;new colour&nbsp;options, the 2024 versions of both models&nbsp;are unaltered in all other aspects.</p>

<h2>Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Design, Engine Specs and Other Details</h2>

<p>With its apron-mounted headlight, broad footboard, apron-integrated front turn indicators, flyscreen up front, step-up seat, single-seat pillion grabrail, and side-slung exhaust with heatshield, the Suzuki Burgman Street has a sporty appearance. The revamped scooter directly competes with the Aprilia SXR 125 in terms of segment positioning and sports styling reminiscent of a maxi scooter.</p>

<p>In the 125cc scooter market, the Access&nbsp;has grown in popularity over time.&nbsp;It has a fully digital LCD with smartphone connectivity, a combined braking system (CBS), a USB charging port, LED position and headlight, and USB charging. With the Suzuki Ride Connect app, you can get turn-by-turn navigation, ETA updates, calls, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts, as well as the last parked location. <p>Suzuki Motorcycle has achieved a huge production milestone of 80 lakh units in the 19th year of its operation in India.&nbsp;The company produced the last 10 lakh two-wheelers in just one year, including the Suzuki Avenis in a bright orange colour as the 80,00,000th unit.&nbsp;The Japanese manufacturer commenced operations in India in February 2006.&nbsp;It achieved the first production milestone of 40 lakh units in 13 years. However, as sales surged over the last decade, the company manufactured the next 40 lakh units in less than six years.</p>

Suzuki Motorcycle Hits 80 Lakh Unit Production Mark in India

Suzuki Motorcycle India provides a variety of scooters and motorcycles in our market, such as the V-Strom 800DE, the Hayabusa, the Access 125, and the Gixxer 250 SF.

<p>Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved its highest-ever sales in FY2023-24 with 11,33,902 units sold. This indicates a 21% year-on-year increase from the 9,38,371 units delivered during the FY2022-23. SMIPL's domestic deliveries reached 9,21,009 units, showing a 26% increase over the 7,30,756 2Ws sold in FY2022-23. Compared to 2,07,615 units dispatched in the last fiscal year, the automaker exported 2,12,893 units in FY2023–24, marking a 3% rise.</p>

<p>In February of this year, the automaker reported total sales of 97,435 2Ws, a 38% increase over the same month the previous year. Domestic sales rose by 59% to 83,304 units from 52,451 in February 2023. However, international shipments declined, from last year's 18,170 units to 14,131 units in February 2024.</p>

<h2>Suzuki Motorcycle India March 2024 Sales</h2>

<p>SMIPL reported cumulative sales of 1,03,669 units in March 2024, an increase of 6.2% over the 97,584 units delivered in the same month last year. In the domestic market, the company supplied 86,164 units, which is an 18% YoY growth from the 73,069 units sold in March 2023. This March's exports amounted to 17,505 units, down from the 24,515 units shipped during the same month the previous year.</p>

Suzuki recently introduced the V-Strom 800DE in India for Rs 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The middleweight adventure bike locks horns with models such as the Honda XL750 Transalp, the Triumph Tiger 900, and the BMW F850 GS. 

<p>With a total of 79,483 units sold worldwide (including export numbers), Suzuki Motorcycle India revealed its sales figure in December 2023. When compared to the 63,912 units sold in December 2022, this was a significant 24% increase in year-on-year sales. Key models including the Suzuki Access 125, Burgmant Street 125, Gixxer 155, and the 250 series have continued to be popular, which has led to outstanding sales growth.</p>

<p>At home, Suzuki Motorcycle India had a banner in December, selling 69,025 units—a remarkable 68.74% increase over the 40,905 units sold in the same month in 2022. Important models have had a major role in this enormous success, and the home market continues to be a stronghold for the brand.</p>

<p>Export volumes for Suzuki Motorcycle India, however, fell on the global stage. Compared to 23,007 units delivered in December of last year, just 10,457 units were shipped worldwide in December of this year. The two-wheeler industry's sustained success for Suzuki Motorcycle India is highlighted by the brand's strong presence in the local market and the constant performance of popular models, even though exports have taken a fall.</p>

With 97,936 units delivered, the manufacturer's overall sales in September this year rose by 13% in comparison to the same month in 2022. In that same period, SMIPL supplied 83,798 units domestically, which was a 16% increase over September of last year. The Suzuki Access 125 has reached a 50 lakh unit production mark in the country. In India, the scooter competes with the models like the TVS Jupiter 125,  the Yamaha Fascino 125, the Honda Activa 125, and more.

<p>Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., (SMIPL) has disclosed sales figures for the previous month. According to the firm, it sold a total of 88,731 units in April 2023, compared to 71,987 units at the same time last year, which gave it a boost of 23.3% in YoY sales. Domestically, the Japanese manufacturer’s Indian arm sold 67,259 units this April. However, last year in the same month, it only sold 54,327 units, which marks 23.8% domestic sales growth. As far as export goes, the company shipped 21,472 units abroad last month, as opposed to 17,660 units in April 2022, which led to a 21.59% increase in exports. &nbsp;According to the firm, the consistently booming sales are supported by its range of models, including the Access 125, the Gixxer series, and others.</p>

We registered a significant year-on-year growth of 23.3% in April 2023. This consistent sales performance is the result of growing demand for Suzuki two-wheelers in India and in overseas markets.''</p>

<p>He further shared, ''Apart from the sales growth, April 2023 proved to be quite progressive for the company as we successfully achieved the 7 millionth production milestone since the origin of the company in 2006. This month, we also introduced new colours for our third-generation Hayabusa.” &nbsp;</p>

<h2>SMIPL March Sales 2023</h2>

<p>SMIPL announced a 49% increase in sales this March compared to the same month in 2022. In March 2023, it sold 73,069 units domestically and delivered 24,515 units internationally, whereas, in March 2022, it sold a total of 65,495 units. Also, compared to the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2022, total sales for the entire 2022–23 fiscal year increased by 24.3% to 9,38,371 units from 754,938 units retailed in that fiscal year.&nbsp;</p>
