The Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory&nbsp;are propelled by a 1099cc liquid-cooled&nbsp;V4 engine that produces a maximum power of&nbsp;220bhp (3bhp more) and a peak torque of 125Nm.&nbsp;A six-speed gearbox transfers power to the back wheel.&nbsp;The V4 receives 4mm larger throttle bodies (52mm) and a new exhaust system&nbsp;with a repositioned catalytic converter to decrease the heat directed at the rider.&nbsp;It also allows for simpler installation of custom exhaust&nbsp;mufflers.&nbsp;

At EICMA 2024, Aprilia introduced the revamped RSV4 and RSV4 Factory motorcycles with visual and mechanical upgrades.

Aprilia’s newest litre-class motorcycles have been launched in India, additionally, the Piaggio Group has launched the Moto Guzzi V855 TT.

Piaggio Group has launched the 2021 Aprilia RSV4 Factory and the Tuono V4 Factory in India. The Aprilia RSV4 Factory is priced at Rs 23.69 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Tuono V4 is 20.66 lakh (ex-showroom).

With this pricing, the Aprilia RSV4 Factory is in very close proximity to the 2021 BMW S 1000RR. The pricing of the BMW S 1000 RR ranges between Rs 19.5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and goes up to Rs 23.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for its Pro M Sport variant.

The RSV4 Factory also rivals the Ducati Panigale V4 that starts at Rs 23.50 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Ducati Panigale V4 S is priced at Rs 28.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

The supersport gets a 1099cc V4 engine that pushes out 214bhp at 13,000rpm and 125Nm at 10,500rpm. The cycle parts include electronically adjustable Ohlins NIX forks in the front and Ohlins TTX monoshock in the rear. The electronics on board include multiple riding modes, engine brake control, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cruise control, and speed limiter.

Speaking of the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory, the motorcycle rivals the motorcycle such as the BMW S 1000 R, Ducati Streetfighter V4 and the Kawasaki Z H2.

The Tuono V4 Factory packs in a 1077cc V4 engine. The power is rated at 172.5bhp at 11,350rpm and 122Nm at 11,000rpm. There is an&nbsp;Ohlins NIX upside-down forks assembly&nbsp;in the front and an Ohlins monoshock in the rear. The electronic package is similar to the one offered with its faired sibling.

Aprilia India has also officially announced the launch of its middle-weight motorcycles, the RS660 and the Tuono 660, which are priced at Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs Rs 13.09 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. After the launch of the middle-weight Aprilia RS660 and the Tuono 660, the brand is gearing up to launch its litre-class range of supersport&nbsp;and naked motorcycles.

In the month of April, we reported that Aprilia has listed the 2021 Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 – along with their respective Factory versions – <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/2021-aprilia-rsv4-and-tuono-v4-listed-on-india-website-109384/">on its official India website</a>. While we are waiting for an official price announcement, one of the supersport bikes has already made its way to a dealership in India. It seems that Aprilia is all set to launch its new-age RSV4 and the Tuono V4 in India very soon.

The motorcycle that has been spotted at the dealership is the 2021 RSV4 Factory, which made its global debut in March 2021 in the international market. The motorcycle will be sold via the CBU route and will carry a price tag close to Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2021 Aprilia RSV4 Factory is an apt rival to the 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 S and the more expensive BMW M 1000 RR, which are on sale in the Indian market. Honda's CBR1000RR-R also falls in the same segment as the new Italian supersport.

For 2021, the RSV4 gets a marginally larger engine&nbsp;than its predecessor, which displaces 1,099cc in a V4 layout. The engine has new internals. Even the chassis is new. The swingarm is lighter than earlier, and other mechanical components have been revised as well. The power figures are 217bhp and 125Nm.
