Over the nine months that ended on December 31, 2023, the company reported an exceptional YoY growth of 93 per cent. With a clear focus on electric mobility, the brand&nbsp;is well-positioned for a transformative year in 2024 thanks to its strong sales performance.&nbsp;It's interesting to note that sales for the luxury car major&nbsp;saw a boost in all markets. On top of that, the world premiere of the Audi Q6 e-tron, which is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2024, is anticipated by the firm to be the next significant move.

<h2>Audi Sales Figures</h2>

The company&nbsp;saw strong growth in its main markets of Europe, the United States, and China. Hildegard Wortmann, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing,&nbsp;Audi&nbsp;remarked, "We were able to increase deliveries in 2023 by more than 17 percent. This was made possible thanks to the efforts of our international team and our dealership partners worldwide – thank you for your impressive performance! We saw strong growth, particularly in our core markets of Europe, the USA, and China, while continuing to pick up speed in electrification. We are putting our strategy on the roads and enabling more and more customers to experience it for themselves.”

According to Audi,&nbsp;it&nbsp;was able to better fulfill the growing demand for models across its lineup last year due to an improving supply situation. In addition to the brand's electric models, the Audi Q5 (3.32 lakh&nbsp;units), the Audi A6 (2.67 lakh&nbsp;units), and the Audi A4 (2.37 lakh&nbsp;units) were quite popular.&nbsp;About 48,000 high-performance Audi Sport vehicles were dispatched, a 5 per cent&nbsp;increase from the year before.&nbsp;

The car major delivered&nbsp;over 1.90 lakh&nbsp;cars (19 per cent) in all other global markets in 2023. Strong growth was observed in these markets in Argentina (109 per cent), India (90 per cent), Mexico (32 per cent), and Australia (29 per cent).

In 2024 and 2025, we will also strengthen and rejuvenate our portfolio with numerous new models. The focus will be on our groundbreaking electric cars. In 2023, Audi India recorded an 89 per cent&nbsp;increase in retail sales, selling 7,931 vehicles. Audi's sales in the domestic market&nbsp;have reached their highest point since 2015. A strong combination of new vehicle launches, a varied portfolio, and customer offerings drove this success.&nbsp;Just the fourth quarter of 2023 saw a 94 per cent&nbsp;increase in sales, totalling 2,401 retail units. The Q3 Sportback, Q8 e-tron, and Q8 Sportback e-tron, three new products that were introduced last year, coupled with the ongoing demand for the A4, A6, and Q5 models, are responsible for the impressive figures.

Audi Approved: Plus, the pre-owned car business, increased by 62 per cent&nbsp;in 2023. It currently has 25 stores across India and plans to expand even further this year. The SUV range also expanded by 174 per cent. Performance and lifestyle vehicles, including the e-tron series, had a 40 per cent&nbsp;increase.

Using a mix of new product launches, a diversified portfolio, and appealing customer offerings, Audi achieved its greatest sales in India since 2015. More than 2,401 retail units were sold in the fourth quarter of 2023, resulting in a remarkable growth rate of 94%.

Launching three new products—the Q3 Sportback, Q8 e-tron, and Q8 Sportback e-tron—the prior year is attributed to exceptional success. Existing models' consistent demand, like the A4, A6, and Q5, also played a big role in this achievement. The extensive lineup of seventeen vehicles is another reason for Audi India's strong performance.&nbsp;

Mr. Dhillon further added, "One in every four customers is a repeat Audi buyer and this tells us that we are on the right path. We will continue to focus on industry-best offerings for our customers and of course, bringing the very best products to India."

The pre-owned vehicle division of Audi, Audi Approved: plus, had a phenomenal 62% growth in 2023. With 25 showrooms nationally, the brand plans to expand in 2024. A whopping 174% gain was recorded by the SUV range, while the Performance and Lifestyle cars, which include the highly sought-after e-tron line, witnessed a hefty 40% increase.

Demand was high for premium models such the Q7, Q8, A8 L, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, RS Q8, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. Audi India expects this trend to continue in 2024 as it strategically extends its retail presence to 64 touchpoints by 2023.

<h2>Audi India increases vehicle prices</h2>

Audi India has announced a price increase across its entire model lineup in the country. The German car manufacturer announced a price hike of up to 2% effective January 1, 2024. The decision is a reaction to the rising operating and input costs that the company is facing.

The sales of Audi, the German luxury automobile manufacturer, increased by 97 per cent from January to June 2023 to 3,474 units. The brand sold 1,765 cars during the same time the previous year. The company has ascribed the high demand to the expansion of the luxury automobile market, changing demographics, as well as positive economic conditions.&nbsp;“Our performance in the first half of the year, despite supply challenges and rising input costs has laid the foundation for a successful second half of the year. A sum of 1,170 vehicles, or 60% of the total 1,950 units sold in Q1 2023, were reportedly the SUVs: the Q7, the Q8, the Q3, the Q3 Sportback, the Q5, the RS Q8, the e-tron 50, the e-tron 55, and the e-tron Sportback 55.
