<p>Volkswagen has unveiled the all-new&nbsp;long-wheelbase Tiguan&nbsp;at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show.&nbsp;The SUV, dubbed the Tiguan L Pro for the local market, is over 200mm longer than the standard model. Following its release in China, it will make its debut in India. The Tiguan L Pro&nbsp;will be available in China in a 5-seat configuration, but the India-spec&nbsp;version will come with&nbsp;seven seats. The newly revealed&nbsp;Tiguan&nbsp;is a&nbsp;three-row model&nbsp;similar to the seven-seat Tiguan Allspace, which was briefly offered in India between 2020 and 2022. In terms of dimensions. the new&nbsp;SUV measures 4,735mm in length, 1,859mm in width, and 1,682mm in height. In comparison to the five-seat version, it is 197mm longer, 17mm wider, and 43mm higher. Moreover, its wheelbase is 111mm longer than its&nbsp;five-seat variant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Tiguan L Pro gets an aggressive-looking&nbsp;bumper in a striking black finish, along with flared wheel arches. The rear&nbsp;end of the car features a blacked-out bumper, wraparound&nbsp;lights with an integrated LED light bar,&nbsp;and a well-sculpted tailgate.&nbsp;The increased length of the SUV is most noticeable in profile, where the D-pillar flows into the rear end of the vehicle.&nbsp;Notably, the Tiguan L Pro&nbsp;is built on the same&nbsp;MQB AO&nbsp;platform as the standard model.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>2025 Volkswagen Tiguan L Pro: Engine and Transmission</h2>

<p>A range of powertrain options is available for the Tiguan L Pro, including diesel, plug-in hybrid, and pure petrol engines. For the Chinese&nbsp;market, however, a 2-litre turbo 4-cylinder mill is offered in two states of tune. The first variant produces&nbsp;183bhp&nbsp;of maximum power&nbsp;and 320Nm of torque, while the second produces 217bhp of peak power&nbsp;and 350Nm of torque. The&nbsp;engine&nbsp;is coupled to&nbsp;a seven-speed DCT gearbox and 4MOTION AWD. Furthermore, both versions&nbsp;have the option of all-wheel drive, with a top speed of 200km/h.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Inside, the SUV has&nbsp;a straightforward&nbsp;dash with three screens: the primary infotainment system, the digital instrument cluster, and one on the passenger side. All three units take advantage of Volkswagen's latest MIB4 digital interface. There are illuminated&nbsp;physical buttons and switches to manage all interior functions. Other features include wireless charging, dual-zone climate control,&nbsp;10-point massage seats with heating and ventilation,&nbsp;a head-up display,&nbsp;a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.</p>

<h2>2025 Volkswagen Tiguan L Pro: India Launch?</h2>

<p>The Taigun L Pro is likely to make its way to India by next year.&nbsp;Most probably,&nbsp;the car will be assembled domestically, alongside the standard Tiguan and the upcoming Kodiaq. In terms of cost, the model may carry a price tag of around Rs 60 lakh, and to keep up&nbsp;the buzz, the sedan&nbsp;may be offered in various customer batches.</p>

<p>The Nissan Epoch concept car, designed as an all-electric sedan targeting 'urban and suburban go-getters',&nbsp;hints at the possibility of being a small car. Although it has a more aggressive front end and a rugged design that seems out of place with its urban focus, it looks similar to the electric Epic concept. The plug-in hybrid crossover has 'zero-gravity seats' and an integrated infotainment system. Regardless of the terrain, it offers a confident drive, thanks to its sophisticated e-4ORCE AWD system and active air suspension.</p>
