Fast forward to 2024, the&nbsp;TRK 902 Xplorer, Benelli's&nbsp;new concept bike, debuted&nbsp;at the Milan-based trade show. In addition to a larger twin-engine&nbsp;– of course – the&nbsp;902 Xplorer gets a new design marked out by a more compact front end. The front features LED headlamps, integrated fog lamps, an LED daytime running lamp, a&nbsp;unique-looking&nbsp;beak, and an electronically adjustable windscreen.&nbsp;The rear end is quite sleek and raised. The concept bike gets an exclusive matte paint finish called Jungle Fog.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Underneath the bodywork, the&nbsp;902 Xplorer Concept has a new&nbsp;904 cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine rated at 99bhp and 90Nm of peak torque. Acting as the&nbsp;stressed member of the chassis, the new engine is an evolution of the company's previous 800cc unit.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;Benelli TRK 902 Xplorer utilises a steel tube trellis frame, suspended by an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock. The bike rolls on&nbsp;a 19-/17-inch spoke wheel setup with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres, sized 110/80 at&nbsp;the front and 150/70 at&nbsp;the rear. It can hold up to 22 litres of fuel and has been equipped with an exclusive toolbox located beneath&nbsp;the pillion&nbsp;seat.&nbsp;

While yet to be confirmed, the concept bike is expected to come with a digital TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, along with off-road-focused features. It remains to be seen when Benelli plans to introduce the production-spec&nbsp;902 Xplorer, but we expect that to happen sometime next year.

<h2>Benelli TRK 502, 502X: Engine</h2>

The&nbsp;Benelli TRK middleweight adventure tourers&nbsp;are&nbsp;powered by a&nbsp;500cc parallel-twin cylinder&nbsp;liquid-cooled engine that produces 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm and 47bhp at 8,500rpm. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine. The&nbsp;Benelli TRK 502 rolls on aluminium&nbsp;alloy wheels, while the off-road-focused 502X features spoked wheels. The bikes rival the&nbsp;Moto Morini X-Cape, the Kawasaki Versys 650, and the Honda CB500X.

<h2>Zontes' 350cc Range: Engine</h2>

Italian motorcycle maker <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/benelli/">Benelli</a> has unveiled its new middleweight adventure motorcycle&nbsp;–&nbsp;the TRK 552X.&nbsp;The bike is expected to replace the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/benelli/trk-502x/">Benelli TRK 502X</a> with a few cosmetic changes&nbsp;and feature updates, complete with&nbsp;a bigger&nbsp;550cc parallel-twin engine. Starting with its visual changes, the new Benelli TRK 552X sports a taller windscreen, a sharper beak, and a twin-pod LED headlamp setup at the front (rather than halogen units). While the fairing and tank shrouds&nbsp;seem&nbsp;wider, the tail section remains quite identical to that of the&nbsp;outgoing version.

Like the KTM 390 Adventure and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan in the middleweight ADV segment, the&nbsp;Benelli TRK 552X gets a&nbsp;colour TFT display (5 inches in size) with smartphone connectivity. The display also features&nbsp;a built-in tyre pressure monitoring system&nbsp;and multiple display modes. Also present is a dual-channel&nbsp;anti-lock braking system&nbsp;as standard. However, the new Benelli does miss out on a traction control system and riding modes.

<h2>Benelli TRK 552X: Engine, Output</h2>

Touted as an&nbsp;entry-level adventure tourer, the&nbsp;Benelli TRK 552X uses a larger 552cc&nbsp;parallel-twin engine with&nbsp;a 270-degree crank. The engine is tuned to produce&nbsp;60bhp and 55Nm of peak&nbsp;torque, making&nbsp;it one of the most powerful adventure tourers in the segment. Transmission duties are carried out by a six-speed gearbox.&nbsp;

<h2>Benelli TRK 552X: Hardware</h2>

The off-road-biased Benelli TRK 552X employs a steel trellis frame, suspended by adjustable upside-down front forks and&nbsp;rear monoshock, both sourced from&nbsp;Marzocchi. Stopping power comes from dual&nbsp;320mm petal discs at the front and a single 260mm disc at the rear. The discs come mounted on&nbsp;19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels wrapped in Metzeler Tourance&nbsp;rubber tyres. The bike tips the scales at around 246 kilograms.&nbsp;

<h2>Benelli TRK 552X: India Launch Likely in 2024</h2>

The Benelli TRK 552X is currently on offer in the Chinese market, but expect the bike to reach Europe in the coming months. As far as our market is concerned, there is a possibility that you might see the new TRK 552 in late 2024 at a slightly higher price than the existing TRK 502X (Rs 6.50 lakh, ex-showroom).&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Benelli TRK 552X is expected to replace the Benelli TRK 502X with a few cosmetic changes and feature updates, complete with a bigger 550cc parallel-twin engine.

Adishwar Auto Ride India,&nbsp;which currently offers Benelli, Keeway,&nbsp;Moto Morini, and Zontes models in India, has revised the prices of the Benelli Leoncino, the&nbsp;502C, as well as&nbsp;the Keeway K300 N. The prices of the 500cc Leoncino now start at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom).&nbsp;This means the price of the&nbsp;Leoncino, which was earlier priced at Rs 5.60 lakh, has been slashed by Rs 61,000. Powering the&nbsp;Benelli Leoncino is a&nbsp;500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is linked&nbsp;to a six-speed transmission. The power and torque figures stand at&nbsp;46.8bhp&nbsp;at 8,500rpm and 46Nm at 6,000rpm, respectively.&nbsp;

Last year,<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/harley-davidson-x500-unveiled-in-china-based-on-benelli-leoncino-500-112988/"> the&nbsp;Benelli Leoncino-based cruiser&nbsp;was launched overseas</a>. Named the Harley-Davidson X500, it is the second product of the Harley-Davidson and QJMotor collaboration. To keep development costs low, the cruiser comes&nbsp;powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine rather than&nbsp;a V-Twin engine, which is used in nearly all Harley-Davidson motorcycles.&nbsp;

Hardware-wise, the Harley-Davidson X500 features a tubular frame suspended&nbsp;by 50mm upside-down front forks offering 124mm of travel&nbsp;and a mono-shock at the rear offering 112mm of travel. The bike supports preload and rebound adjustments.&nbsp;Braking duties are carried out by a dual front disc with 4-piston callipers&nbsp;and a single rear disc with a single-piston calliper, accompanied by a switchable dual-channel anti-lock braking system.&nbsp;

<h2>Benelli 502C,&nbsp;Keeway K300 N: New Prices</h2>

Meanwhile, the&nbsp;Benelli 502C and the&nbsp;Keeway K300 N see price cuts of Rs 60,000 and Rs 26,000, respectively. As a result, the 502C and&nbsp;K300 N are now offered at Rs 5.25 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh, respectively. Prices are ex-showroom. Benelli's 502C is built around a trellis frame suspended by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. In terms of mechanicals, it gets the same&nbsp;500cc <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/eicma-2023-benelli-tornado-300-400-and-500-unveiled-gets-parallel-twin-engine-115254/">parallel-twin engine</a> as the&nbsp;Leoncino, generating the same power and torque. In the Indian market, the 502C rivals the&nbsp;Kawasaki Eliminator (Rs 5.62 lakh), the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 (Rs 3.61 lakh-Rs 3.91 lakh), and others.&nbsp;

As for the K300 N sport naked, there is a&nbsp;292cc, 4-stroke, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, which&nbsp;puts out 27bhp&nbsp;at 8,750rpm and 25Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.&nbsp;The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, sending power to the rear wheels. The suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock, while the stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends. Features-wise, the bike offers an LCD instrument cluster, ABS, and all-LED lighting.&nbsp;

The Tornado 500 is equipped with a 5.0-inch colour TFT display that offers many functions including Bluetooth connectivity, TPMS function, USB, and a USB-C port. The bike's frame consists of a tubular steel trellis arrangement, which is enhanced by the presence of an inverted Marzocchi 41 mm fork and a centrally positioned shock absorber. Significantly, this particular model is fitted with a capacious 16.5-litre fuel tank.

The Tornado 400 maintains essential characteristics, such as the presence of a 5.0-inch colour TFT display. The Tornado 300 incorporates a 5-inch colour TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity while retaining the frame characteristics of the 400cc version. These include an inverted fork and a rear swingarm equipped with a mono-shock that allows for adjustable spring preload. The fuel tank possesses a capacity of 14 litres, while the seat is positioned at a height of 800 mm, hence facilitating a seamless integration of technological features and rider comfort.

<h2>Engine</h2>

Distinguished by premium components for heightened performance, the Tornado 500 showcases a robust 500cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering a potent 47.6 bhp and 46 Nm of torque.

The Benelli Tornado 300 has a 300cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, generating a nimble 35 bhp and 27 Nm. In contrast, the Tornado 400 boasts a 399cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing an impressive 47.6 bhp and 38 Nm.

In terms of competition, the Tornado 300 sets its sights on rivals like the Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3, while the Tornado 400 competes against the Ninja 400. Lastly, the Tornado 500 enters the arena against the recently unveiled Ninja 500. The TRK 502 and the TRK 502X adventure tourer motorcycles' prices in India have been recently altered&nbsp;by the Italian bikemaker Benelli. Both motorcycles now cost Rs 25,000 more than they previously did. Following the latest hike, the asking price of the 2023 Benelli TRK 502 now stands at Rs 5.85 lakh, whereas that of the Benelli TRK 502X is Rs 6.35 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India.&nbsp;It is important to keep in mind that costs have increased by about a lakh on the TRK 502 series since the BS6 updated version of the bike&nbsp;was launched&nbsp;in the Indian market&nbsp;with a price tag&nbsp;of Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Nevertheless, costs for motorcycles have increased across the board. For those unaware,&nbsp;the Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) facility is located close to Hyderabad, where the model is locally assembled and sold. The TRK 502 range is imported into the nation as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit.

<h2>Benelli&nbsp;TRK 502 Range: Design and Colour Options</h2>

At EICMA 2022, Benelli unveiled the TRK 502 touring motorcycle line. The Benelli TRK 502 will now be offered in Grey, White, Black (new), and Forest Green (new), thanks to the introduction of the new colors. Additionally, there will be four other colour options for the Benelli TRK 502X: Grey, White, Yellow, and Forest Green (new).

Design-wise, the 502 series incorporated blacked-out footpegs, brake and clutch levers, and handguards.&nbsp;A large LED headlight, handguards with aluminum inlays, and a central stand have been fitted to both motorcycles. Both the clutch lever and the upgraded handlebar may be adjusted to provide the optimal riding conditions for each rider. Both ADVs have redesigned hand grips, handy aluminum pawls placed beneath the saddle, illuminated handlebar switchgear, rear-view mirrors with updated designs, and more.

<h2>Benelli&nbsp;TRK 502 Range: Mechanical Specs and Hardware</h2>

A 500cc parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm and 47bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm is employed by the middleweight adventure tourers. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine.

In terms of hardware, the 502X has adjustable suspension, including front 50mm USDs with a 140mm travel and rear central monoshocks with a 62mm travel.&nbsp;To handle uneven road surfaces, the TRK 502X moreover has an exhaust installed in a higher position than the TRK 502's road-going counterpart.&nbsp;A 260mm diameter disc at the back and a double disc with 2-piston floating callipers at the front of the model provide a strong, controlled, and well-balanced stopping performance. The front 19-inch spoked aluminum alloy rims and the rear 17-inch rims are shod with 110/80 and 150/70 tyres, respectively. The TRK 502 rides on 17-inch aluminum alloy rims with a 120/70-17 front and a 160/60-17 rear tyre. Both motorcycles have a 20-litre tank capacity.

The&nbsp;Benelli TNT 25N motorcycle has been upgraded to include a redesigned four-stroke, single-cylinder motor that puts out&nbsp;25bhp of maximum power and 21.2Nm of peak torque. It is inspired by the 320S bike in terms of its styling and is offered in 3 colour options that include Golden Yellow, Power Black, and Strength Red.&nbsp;

In terms of powertrain, the 2023 TNT 25N uses a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with EFI and TLI, which&nbsp;is mated to a 6-speed transmission, enabling the motorcycle to send power to the rear wheels. This engine is capable of producing 25bhp of maximum power at 9,250rpm and 21.2Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm.

<h2>2023 Benelli TNT 25N: Styling, Features</h2>

Style-wise,&nbsp;the updated TNT 25N draws inspiration from the Benelli 320S. The exterior consists of a muscular fuel tank, a single-pod headlamp, a body-coloured fender at the front, and a side-slung exhaust. It rides on 17-inch, split-style alloy wheels that come wrapped in tubeless tyres. Besides,&nbsp;the motorcycle receives a padded seat and&nbsp;grab rails.&nbsp;

<h2>2023 Benelli TNT 25N: Suspension, Braking</h2>

The bike's suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front offering 120mm of travel and a mono-shock at the rear offering 45mm of travel. For handling braking duties, the&nbsp;Benelli TNT 25N gets petal-shaped disc brakes at both ends -&nbsp;a 260mm front disc and a 240mm rear motor. It has a fuel storage capacity of around 13.5 litres, and the dry weight of the TNT 25N is 155kg. It is available with a seat height of 780mm, a wheelbase of 1,365mm, and a ground clearance of 170mm.

The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/benelli/trk-251/">Benelli TRK 251</a> was previously restricted to three colours, black, grey, and white, for the market. Now, one can get the 2023&nbsp;Benelli TRK 251 bike in an all-new yellow colour.&nbsp;The India-bound 2023 version has no significant changes to offer in terms of specifications or design.

Everything from design to mechanical specifications is unchanged&nbsp;in the new&nbsp;2023 version. The model will continue to be powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, with a double overhead camshaft timing and an electronic fuel injection system. The engine makes 25.8bhp at 9,250rpm and a peak torque output of 21.1Nm at 8,000rpm.

The transmission here is a six-speed unit, and the suspension duties are taken care of by a&nbsp;41mm upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock. Benelli is offering&nbsp;dual-channel ABS as standard. In addition, the model's braking system features&nbsp;a single 280mm disc at the front and a 240mm single rotor at the back.&nbsp;

Whether the 2023 <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/benelli/">Benelli </a>TRK 251 will arrive in India or not is a question yet to be answered, but still, we expect the motorcycle to draw a lot of attention with its all-new yellow paint option.&nbsp;
