Following Audi's announcement,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bmw/">BMW</a>&nbsp;has now revealed&nbsp;its sales figures for Q1 2025, reporting a solid 7% growth. The company delivered 3,914 cars overall,&nbsp;including 3,764 BMWs and 150 Minis. BMW Motorrad, the brand's premium two-wheeler division, added to the success with 1,373 units sold between January and March 2025. The focus on comfort, luxury, and driving dynamics boosted their sales by 187%. The all-new 5 Series Long Wheelbase was the best-selling business sedan in Q1,&nbsp;and the 3 Series Long Wheelbase maintained its top position in its class. The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/mini/cooper/s/">Cooper S</a> was the best-selling model in Mini's lineup, while the G 310 RR and 900 GS/GSA were among the popular <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bmw/">BMW motorcycles</a>.

BMW Group India has reported its highest-ever sales for the first nine months of 2024, primarily driven by high demand for electric vehicles and long-wheelbase models. The company marked this period as its most successful year-to-date, registering a 10% growth compared to the same timeframe in the previous year. A total of 10,556 cars and 5,638 motorcycles were delivered, with <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bmw/">BMW cars</a>&nbsp;accounting for 10,056 units&nbsp;sold. Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/mini/">MINI</a>,&nbsp;the group’s subsidiary, contributed 500 units to the overall sales figure. This growth highlights the increasing popularity of BMW’s electric and luxury offerings in the Indian market.

<h2>BMW Group India Sales Figures: January to September 2024</h2>

The manufacturer has revealed that sedans and SUVs contributed almost equally to its overall sales, maintaining a near 50:50 ratio. BMW’s entry-level X1 SUV and the 3 Series sedan were the top contributors to the 10,056 units sold during the first nine months of 2024. Between July and September alone, the company sold 3,322 units. The X1 SUV accounted for 20% of BMW's total sales during the January-September period, while the 3 Series sedan made up 19%. Additionally, the LWB luxury sedans, including the 5 Series and 7 Series, played a key role in driving the premium German carmaker's record sales. Since the 5 Series LWB launch in&nbsp;July, BMW has delivered over 300 units, with 600 more pending, reflecting strong demand for the model.

In the first nine months of the year, BMW and Mini sold a combined total of 725 all-electric vehicles from their six-model EV portfolio. Of these, 328 units were sold in the last three months alone.&nbsp;The&nbsp;iX has proven to be the standout model, with over 1,000 units sold so far. This success has contributed to BMW Group India reaching a significant milestone, as the company now claims to be the first luxury carmaker in India to surpass 2,000 EV&nbsp;deliveries.

Meanwhile, the i7 sedan remained the company’s top-selling EV and was part of the 'Luxury Class' segment, which also includes the X7, 7 Series, and XM, contributing 17% to BMW’s overall sales. Notably, BMW's SUV lineup made up 55% of the brand’s sales, while sedans, coupes, and convertibles accounted for the remaining 45%.
