<p>The Maruti Suzuki car comes in four primary variants (LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+)&nbsp;and is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. It also has a CNG powertrain.&nbsp;The price of the MPV starts at&nbsp;Rs 8.69 lakh and goes up to&nbsp;Rs 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Maruti Suzuki Swift</h2>

<p>Despite a 14.85% YoY decrease,&nbsp;the new-gen Swift was the second best-selling car during the festive season.&nbsp;The hatch sold 17,539 units last month, compared to 20,598 in October 2023.&nbsp;The Maruti Suzuki hatchback is propelled by a Z-series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol unit&nbsp;that produces 80bhp at 5,700rpm and 112Nm at 4,300rpm.&nbsp;It costs between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 9.64&nbsp;lakh (both, ex-showroom).</p>

<p>The Creta retained its third spot on the list, with 17,497 units sold.&nbsp;This demonstrated a remarkable YoY increase of 33.80%.&nbsp;The SUV sold 15,902 units in September 2024, up 25.05% from the previous year's 12,717 units. Hyundai offers three powertrain options for the Creta:&nbsp;a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol,&nbsp;a 1.5-litre diesel, and&nbsp;a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol.&nbsp;The SUV is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (both, ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Maruti Suzuki Brezza</h2>

<p>In October 2024, the Brezza sold 16,565 units,&nbsp;registering an increase of 3.21% over the previous year's total of 16,050. With 15,322 units delivered in September,&nbsp;the SUV also had a month-over-month rise.&nbsp;The Brezza has a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 101.5bhp and 137Nm.&nbsp;It retails between Rs 8.34 lakh and Rs 14.14 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.&nbsp;</p>

Moreover, in contrast to 78,040 units sold in the same month last year, the total sales of passenger cars dropped to 69,245 units in July 2024.</p>

<p>With models like the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, and XL6,&nbsp;the utility car segment suffered a drop in sales to 56,302 units last month from 62,049 units sold in July 2023.</p>

Maruti Suzuki Total Sales Dip 3.63% Year-on-Year in July; Exports Rise by 8.05%

Maruti Suzuki exported a total of 23,985 units in July 2024, marking an increase of 8.05% from 22,199 units shipped in the same month last year.

<p>In addition, the carmaker is now providing an extended warranty for up to 6 years or 1,60,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) with three options to choose from. The first option is the Platinum package, which allows buyers to extend the warranty to four years or 1,20,000 kilometres. Next up, there is a&nbsp;Royal Platinum package that offers an extended warranty of up to&nbsp;five years or 1,40,000 kilometres. Lastly, the Solitaire package provides an enhanced warranty of up to six years or 1,60,000 kilometres.</p>

<p>Maruti Suzuki was the top-selling car brand in June 2024. With over 1.37 lakh units sold, it represented a 3.1% YoY increase.&nbsp;The new Swift sold 16,422 units last month, ranking second on the list of best-selling cars. On the sales chart, Maruti Suzuki was closely followed by Hyundai and Tata Motors, which delivered&nbsp;50,103, and&nbsp;43,527 units, respectively.&nbsp;</p>


Baleno, Swift, Brezza, and More Maruti Suzuki Cars Get 3-year/1,00,000km Standard Warranty

Maruti Suzuki was the top-selling car brand in June 2024. With over 1.37 lakh units sold, it represented a 3.1% YoY increase.

<p>Maruti Suzuki has reported total sales of 1,97,471 units in February 2024, registering a 15 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase over February 2023's sales volume of 1,72,321 units. The company's entry-level models, the Alto and the S-Presso, continued to reel under stress, with sales plunging to 14,782 units compared to 21,875 units sold in February 2023. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki's subcompact cars – Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR – were delivered to 71,627 buyers, registering a 10 per cent YoY decline last month. Last but not least, the midsize Ciaz sedan also remained on a downward path and clocked 481 units.</p>

<p>Speaking of sedans<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/maruti-suzuki-dzire-becomes-best-selling-sedan-in-january-hyundai-verna-beats-virtus-to-make-cut-in-top-5-116244/">,&nbsp;the Maruti Suzuki Dzire was&nbsp;the best-selling sedan in January 2024</a>&nbsp;with 16,773 units, up from 14,012 units in December 2023, thereby accounting&nbsp;for a 48 per cent YoY increase. Under the hood, the&nbsp;Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets&nbsp;a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine with 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The same mill, mated to&nbsp;a 5-speed MT, produces 76bhp and 98.5Nm while operating on CNG. The sedan&nbsp;comes in four&nbsp;variants — ZXi, ZXi+, VXi, and LXi — with ex-showroom pricing ranging from Rs 6.57 lakh to Rs 9.39 lakh.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: UV Segment</h2>

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: Exports</h2>

<p>While the company's domestic sales for February 2024 grew by a mere 9 per cent, exports witnessed a staggering 68 per cent growth to 28,927 units. In February 2023, the domestic sales and exports stood at 1,55,114 units and 17,207 units, respectively.&nbsp;&nbsp;Of 1,68,544 domestic passenger vehicles registered last month, 5,147 units went to Toyota India, marking a 20 per cent YoY increase.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: CV Segment</h2>

<p>In the commercial vehicle segment,&nbsp;the Maruti Suzuki&nbsp;Super Carry&nbsp;– the company's sole commercial vehicle in India – posted a 6 per cent degrowth in February 2024. First introduced in 2016, the Super Carry now comes powered by a&nbsp;1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K-Series dual jet, dual VVT engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Baleno, and more. When running on petrol, the car produces&nbsp;80bhp at 6,000rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 2,900rpm. In CNG mode, it&nbsp;makes 71bhp at 6,000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 2,800rpm.&nbsp;</p>

However,&nbsp;the Tata Punch, a compact&nbsp;SUV, outsold its rivals last month, demonstrating its considerable influence in the market. Here's a look at the model's latest sales figures.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Punch, Nexon, and Brezza: Sales Figures for Jan 2024</h2>

<p>In the passenger vehicle&nbsp;segment, the Tata Punch emerged as&nbsp;the best-selling SUV and the second-best-selling model overall as of January 2024. With a monthly sales volume of 17,978 units, the subcompact crossover saw a noteworthy 50 per cent&nbsp;YoY growth. For the uninitiated, the Punch is offered in both <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/car-reviews/tata-punch-ev-review-is-this-the-small-electric-suv-india-has-been-waiting-for-115919/">all-electric</a>&nbsp;and internal combustion engine configurations.&nbsp;The former&nbsp;was launched last month&nbsp;starting at Rs 10.99 lakh.</p>

<p>Next in line is&nbsp;Punch's&nbsp;elder sibling, the Tata Nexon, of&nbsp;which&nbsp;17,182 units were sold last month.&nbsp;This led to a 10 per cent&nbsp;year-over-year (YoY) gain. The car&nbsp;is available for purchase in both ICE and EV versions as well. Last year in September, the Nexon&nbsp;line underwent a significant revamp. The price of the model ranges between Rs&nbsp;8.15 lakh and&nbsp;Rs 15.60 lakh.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Maruti Suzuki&nbsp;Brezza&nbsp;is another model among the&nbsp;best-selling sub-4-metre SUVs in India, and comes in at third spot, with 15,303 sold in January. The carmaker sold 14,359 units in the corresponding month&nbsp;of the prior year, resulting in a 7 per cent&nbsp;YoY rise. As for its&nbsp;price, the SUV retails for&nbsp;Rs 8.29 lakh (base variant). Meanwhile, the top-spec variant can be had for Rs 14.14 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.</p>

<p>The 2022 <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/maruti-suzuki/">Maruti Suzuki</a> Brezza is all set to make its debut tomorrow in India. Bookings for the car recently commenced and the company has stated that it received 4,500 bookings on the first day. Ahead of this, leaked documents have shown that the new Brezza will come in four variant options – Lxim VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.&nbsp;</p>

<p>One day before its launch, we have gathered several bits of information regarding the car and here is how we piece it all together.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Exterior</strong></p>

<p>In terms of dimensions, the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/maruti-suzuki/vitara-brezza/">Brezza </a>will be 3,995mm long, 1,790mm wide, and 1,685mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,500mm. In the updated version, the car comes with a revised front fascia with a new grille, flanked by LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs. In addition to this, the new front bumper gets new foglamp housings and a silver skid plate to highlight the <a href="https://www.autox.com/suv-cars-in-india/" target="_blank">SUV's</a> character.</p>

<p>The car will sit on a set of new alloy wheels with squared-off wheel arches. At the back, the car comes with a pair of redesigned LED taillights and Brezza lettering across the boot lid.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Interior</strong></p>

<p>On the inside, the new Brezza will get a revised upholstery option with a black and brown theme. Also, the car will get an electric sunroof for the first time in addition to features like a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, and a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment unit.</p>

<p>Creature comfort elements come in the form of an ARKAMYS music system, cooled glovebox, new flat-bottom steering wheel with controls, ambient lighting, new controls for the HVAC system, and a 12V socket in the rear row, and a push start/stop button.</p>

<p>The safety feature list in the new Brezza will include six airbags, an electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, roll-over mitigation, and a reverse parking camera.</p>

<p><strong>2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Engine</strong></p>

<p>We expect the new Brezza to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, K12C petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. In addition to this, the car will also get a mild-hybrid motor that will produce 3bhp at 900rpm. Transmission options will include a five-speed manual unit and a new six-speed torque converter option.</p>
