<p>Davide Brivio, who previously led Alpine's Formula 1 squad, will be returning to MotoGP as the team head for the brand-new Trackhouse Racing outfit. Even though there were rumours that Brivio could be joining Honda, he has decided to join the new American team instead. After three years at Alpine, where he filled a variety of jobs, Brivio decided to join Trackhouse. While CEO Luca de Meo had Brivio serve as Formula 1 team racing director, he has since spent the past year and a half managing Alpine's young driver programme. He will succeed PJ Rashidi, who was originally named director of the American squad.</p>

<h2>MotoGP: Davide Brivio</h2>

<p>There is little need to introduce Brivio's acclaimed status among the top two-wheel World Championship racers. A legendary character, he was revered for his masterful management of five MotoGP Riders World Championships and four Constructor's crowns, spanning two brands. When Brivio showed interest in the team's new initiative, Trackhouse quickly recruited him because of his exceptional background and record of success. In 2020, Brivio achieved his greatest MotoGP success to date. This triumph came before his unexpected move from the MotoGP Paddock to Formula 1.</p>

<p>Davide Brivio, Team Principal: "It all happened very quickly in the last days with Justin asking me to help Trackhouse in the MotoGP challenge. It’s so exciting to be a part of this new project since the beginning and I’m really looking forward to get to know Trackhouse more and see what we can bring in MotoGP from the successful vision and experience that this company has in other sports and environments. It could be a great combination of the two worlds. Now, it’s just one more test to go, almost time to go racing and we will try to support as much as we can our two talented riders Miguel and Raul and have fun. In the last few days everything has happened very quickly and before I could not say where I was going but hey, it’s great news and we will start working quickly!"</p>

<h2>MotoGP: Trackhouse Racing</h2>

<p>Pitbull and Justin Marks's NASCAR team, Trackhouse Racing, has an outstanding record in North American competition, having won six Cup Series races among other trophies. Brivio has decided to commit to the new Trackhouse team despite many rumours linking him to a possible move to Honda. This American team has taken over RNF and CryptoDATA's submission for this year's racing grid.

<p>The Alpine Formula 1 team has confirmed that Davide Brivio will be leaving at the end of the 2023 season. Brivio, who became the racing director for Alpine at the start of the 2021 season, played a crucial role in Suzuki's victory in the MotoGP world championship with Joan Mir in the previous year. This success was significant as it was the team's first championship victory in twenty years. Despite the fact that Brivio's current agreement with Alpine was extended into the following year, both parties have mutually decided to terminate it at the end of 2023. <h2>Davide Brivio to Return in MotoGP?</h2>

<p>Reports that the Japanese manufacturer is undergoing a major shakeup after two unsuccessful seasons without Marc Marquez and that Brivio is in line to succeed current team leader Alberto Puig. This reorganisation started with the resignation of technical director Shinichi Kokubu. Brivio, it should be noted, has a wealth of experience managing Japanese brands. Before joining Formula 1, he successfully managed Joan Mir's 2020 MotoGP championship with Suzuki.</p>
