<p>For Ducati, 2022 was the best year in terms of sales, earnings, and profitability worldwide. By posting record first-quarter sales in 2023, the company is keeping up this trend. A 9 per cent increase over the corresponding period in 2022, the Bologna-based bike manufacturer&nbsp;sold 14,725 units between January and March 2023. Commenting on the latest milestone,&nbsp;Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO, said, "After closing our best year ever in 2022, we began 2023 with strong results that confirm a company strategy that is paying off with a great outcome. Based on these positive numbers, we continue working to achieve the best possible result, with the main goal to satisfy all passionate Ducatisti in our beautiful community."&nbsp;These outstanding outcomes are emphasised in all of Ducati's leading markets: Italy is in the top spot with 2,717 motorcycles delivered, an increase of 7% from the same time last year. With 1,677 bikes delivered, the United States, Ducati's second-largest market, increased deliveries by 21% in the first quarter of 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Ducati Best-selling Models:&nbsp;Multistrada V4,&nbsp;Monster, &amp; More</h2>

<p>With 2,668 motorcycles delivered globally in the first three months of 2023, the Multistrada V4 in all of its iterations continues to be the most popular model offered by Ducati, followed by the Monster with 2,005 units. The DesertX, with 1,442 deliveries, comes in third place and supports the brand's strategy of expanding its product line and branching out into new markets.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Over 800 dealers are part of Ducati's extensive sales network, which spans over 90 countries and is still expanding. The manufacturer, based in Bologna, has 55 new dealers scheduled to open in 2023; some of them have already begun operations. The first Audi Ducati Eetail integration dealership for Switzerland debuted among them in March in Volketswil (Zurich). Just last year in October, the bikemaker launched the&nbsp;Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak version in the Indian market.</p>

<h2>Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak: Engine and Chassis</h2>

<p>The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is the most aggressive iteration of the Multistrada V4 line-up, with electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension, 17-inch rims shod with stickier rubber, a single-sided swingarm, and a new 'Race' riding mode.&nbsp;It is powered by the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that powers the standard version, producing 170bhp of maximum power and 125Nm of peak torque. The engine on the bike has a one-of-a-kind feature that employs rear bank deactivation, which turns off the combustion in the rear cylinder.</p>

<h2>Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak: Price, Suspension, and Features</h2>

<p>The braking system of the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features 330mm discs and Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers, similar to those found on the Multistrada V4 S, to match and stop the V4 motor. A single 265 mm disc and a floating Brembo calliper are used for the rear brakes. Furthermore, the bike's Ducati Wheelie Control has been improved with a new approach that provides better response and more precise control when you twist the throttle wide open.</p>

<p>The bike has the 'Pikes Peak' look, and the graphics and colours are inspired by the Desmosedici GP '21. It also has an Akrapovi titanium and carbon exhaust, a two-tone Black and red rear seat with the V4 logo, a low-smoked Plexi screen, and Cornering ABS. The bike costs Rs 31.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is significantly more expensive than the standard Multistrada V4 S as well as the BMW S 1000 XR, but it comes with a lot more features.</p>
