<p>The 2023 Formula 1 season has unveiled a captivating array of special liveries, eliciting a spectrum of opinions from fans and critics alike. Teams have spared no effort in creating unique designs that respect heritage while also including innovation, resulting in a wide range of opinions from magnificent to dubious. Fans have been treated to a visual extravaganza all season long as racing vehicles decked out in eye-catching liveries whizz past legendary circuits. When it comes to their colour schemes, some teams have gone for subtle tweaks, while others have gone all out with striking changes. The end product is an aesthetic kaleidoscope that makes the competition that much more exciting. In no particular sequence, these are the five special liveries that we felt were the best of the 2023 season.</p>

<h2>Red Bull – Miami</h2>

<p>Red Bull held a competition wherein supporters were encouraged to create a custom livery for the team. The only limitations were that the design could only be applied to the sidepods and wings; the engine cover would still include the team's signature red and yellow colours.</p>

<p>Three intricate designs were born out of the process, each with its own subtle nod to the history of the racing circuit. Nevertheless, these designs might not do very well when compared to the other submissions in this competition. Out of the three, the Miani Livery stood out to us the most.</p>

<h2>AlphaTauri - Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix</h2>

<p>AlphaTauri showcased a creative and eye-catching design that seems to have been through a wind tunnel. The team clearly had a soft spot for the design after showcasing it during the Vegas race and opting to keep it for the season finale in Abu Dhabi.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Williams - Singapore, Japanese and Qatar Grand Prix</h2>

<p>A Gulf livery is sure to be a hit thanks to its trademark two-tone colour scheme. There was a lot of teasing when word got out that Gulf was leaving McLaren to join Williams in 2023. The fact that fans could still enjoy the unique Gulf livery at three designated races provided some consolation for those who were disappointed that the ordinary vehicle didn't completely embrace the famed orange and light blue palette.</p>

<h2>Ferrari - Las Vegas Grand Prix</h2>

<p>The Las Vegas livery of Ferrari is aesthetically beautiful due of its simplicity. The timeless combination of red and white, reminiscent of Ferrari's legendary 1970s design, is sure to turn heads. While the harmony between Monza yellow and red was equally impressive, the simple sophistication of red and white exudes an air of timeless beauty. Above all else, it's a subtle reminder that this is definitely a Ferrari.</p>

<h2>Alfa Romeo – Italian Grand Prix</h2>

<p>It's hard to deny that Alfa's Monza livery is a work of art. The Alfa was already one of the most visually appealing cars on the track before the debut of the spectacular all-black design, which featured the Italian flag elegantly painted across the engine cover and nose. With this tribute to Alfa Romeo, the Italian automaker's last year as Sauber's title sponsor, the team came dangerously close to winning the championship but ultimately fell short.</p>

<h2>McLaren - Monaco Grand Prix</h2>

<p>The McLaren Triple Crown was a complete and utter success. More than any other team in the grid, McLaren has wholeheartedly embraced its racing heritage under Zak Brown's leadership. As a multi-series competitor, McLaren takes great pride in its history of success outside of Formula 1, the crowning achievement of which was the introduction of the Triple Crown livery during the Monaco Grand Prix.</p>

<p>The clever nods to the past that are interwoven into the design of the car are just as impressive as its eye-catching white and papaya colour scheme. In honour of the team's Triple Crown win, the livery features design elements from all three of the winning cars—the Indy500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Monaco Grand Prix.</p>
