Formula 1: Next weekend (November 17-19) at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Ferrari, the Italian sports carmaker, will have two of its SF-23 Formula 1 race cars sporting the special red-and-white livery, designed to celebrate the iconic racing cars of the '70s, including the 1971 Ferrari 312 B that&nbsp;Mario Andretti drove to victory at the South African GP and Gilles Villeneuve’s 1978 312 T4.&nbsp;

This one-off livery is a 'nod to the first "golden age"&nbsp;of the sport in the US, where Scuderia Ferrari&nbsp;enjoyed some of the most memorable moments in its history'. The Ferrari SF-23 gets red bodywork, while elements&nbsp;such as&nbsp;the rear wing,&nbsp;front wing endplates, and sponsor logos are finished in white. The sports car is&nbsp;accompanied by the&nbsp;white circular number board as well as retro-style pinstripes on the nose cone, side pods, and sharkfin. Moreover, drivers&nbsp;Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc's racing suits and helmets&nbsp;will also feature the same red-and-white theme. <h2>Ferrari SF-23: Key Specifications</h2>

Scuderia Ferrari is the latest team to reveal its challenger (SF-23)&nbsp;in a&nbsp;new avatar&nbsp;for the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix. Underneath the skin, the Ferrari SF-23 gets a hybrid setup, consisting of a turbocharged 1.6-litre 90-degree V6 engine capable of 15,000rpm and two electric motor-generators – one on the driveline and another integrated with the turbo.&nbsp;Other specs include a carbon fibre composite honeycomb structure for the chassis, hydraulically controlled rear differential, Ferrari longitudinal gearbox, 18-inch front and rear wheels, as well as a combination&nbsp;of push-rod front and pull-rod rear suspension. The weight, including coolant, oil,&nbsp;and the driver, is about 798 kilograms.&nbsp;

Formula 1 is set to return to Las Vegas, the US, for the first time since the 1982 Caesars Palace Grand Prix&nbsp;– the second F1 race in Las Vegas&nbsp;after the 1981 edition. For the 22nd round of the 2023 season, Formula 1 heads to the&nbsp;6.201-kilometre Las Vegas Strip Circuit in Nevada, USA. The track features 17 turns, three straights, a chicane, and a high-speed cornering sequence, with the Grand Prix to take place over 50 laps.&nbsp;

The 6.2km long Strip Circuit makes its way through some of the most iconic hotels and casinos, such as&nbsp;Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian. Average speeds are expected to be on par with Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy&nbsp;– with maximum speed around the 342km/h&nbsp;mark.&nbsp;This year, Las Vegas will play host to the very first night race in the US on November 18 at 22:00 local time (Nov. 19 at 11:30 IST).&nbsp;

While Charles Leclerc did earn Ferrari's first pole of the season at last weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix, he ultimately couldn't do much to defend his position against Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen, and Ferrari ultimately had to settle for tyre conservation. While Leclerc's third-place finish behind the two Red Bull drivers was welcome, the Scuderia clearly still has some development work to do on their car, as he was 21 seconds behind the race winner. Team principal Vasseur said the team's upgrade will debut in this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, with subsequent European races set to see small upgrades. The fact that Ferrari started on the first row and finished on the podium in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is seen as evidence that the team has made small strides since the beginning of the season. Frederic Vasseur, the team principal of the Ferrari, has stated that more upgrades would be made in the near future. The next Miami event will serve as the launching pad for that new course. Further improvements will be made over the coming weeks, with the upcoming race weekend serving as the primary focus. As a result, races with sprints, or those not highly suited to developmental changes - Vasseur specifically cited Monaco as an example - will see only minor enhancements, while in other races a more comprehensive package will be introduced.

But&nbsp;it is Matte Red with carbon fiber sections. Along with, the long 'F' Ferrari logo makes a return on the rear wing.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As for the changes, the chassis (vehicle frame) has been revamped. The SF-23 now comes with&nbsp;a redesigned suspension that allows a wider range of adjustments to be made to the car on the track. Additionally, it also gets an improved front suspension with a low track rod.&nbsp;Aerodynamically, the new car has undergone significant changes, to&nbsp;increase vertical downforce and secure better dynamic balance.&nbsp;

Furthermore, the front wing and nose also have received some obvious changes.&nbsp;The car seemingly receives a flatter nose. Its new front wing design features slot gap separators so as to create vortices, thereby accelerating the airflow towards the floor inlets.&nbsp;The new SF-23, nonetheless, retains the 'bathtub' contours at the top of the sidepods, with a depression to direct air towards the rear beam wing.&nbsp;
