<p>The 2024 MotoGP season's official livery has been unveiled by the Gresini Team, revealing the design that will adorn Marc Marquez's Ducati in his first year with the squad. Since his debut in MotoGP in 2013, Marquez has never been apart from the factory Honda, so this is a big change for him.</p>

<p>After Marquez's difficult 2023 season with Honda, in which they were not competitive, he decided to join Gresini Ducati. Marquez has been the centre of attention since October when he announced his intention to end his HRC contract one year early and sign with Gresini Ducati. This change was already under the microscope when he rode the Ducati for the first time in November in Valencia.</p>

<p>The recently revealed livery stays true to Gresini's signature light blue and red colour scheme from the previous two seasons. During this time, the team won five races, with the help of former riders Fabio di Giannantonio (one win in 2023) and Enea Bastianini (four wins in 2022). The team still doesn't have a title sponsor or Red Bull team branding—just personal sponsorship deals—even if Marc Marquez is now on board. The blue #73 is shown on the front of Alex's bike, while Marc's signature red #93 is on display.</p>

<h2>MotoGP: Marquez Brothers and Gresini Ducati</h2>

<p>This MotoGP season, the Marquez siblings, Fabio di Giannantonio, and Marco Bezzecchi (both of VR46) will race on GP23 bikes that are a year old. At the same time, the newest GP24 motorcycles will be used by the reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia, and his factory colleague Enea Bastianini. &nbsp;The newest GP24 motorcycles will also be used by Jorge Martin, and Franco Morbidelli from Pramac.</p>

<p>Marc Marquez opted to leave Honda after a difficult year that included a record-breaking 29 falls and no victories since September 2021. He managed to secure just one podium result, even though he finished as the top RCV in the standings (14th). The #93 is now one of the favourites to win the 2024 title after showing encouraging speed at the most recent test. But Marquez isn't thinking about such historic accomplishments just yet. He has to get back to winning races.</p>

<p>Alex debuted in 2020 with Repsol Honda alongside Marc, and he is now entering his fifth year in the premier class. Marc was sidelined following the Jerez opening owing to an arm injury that lasted until mid-2022, one of several injury setbacks he encountered that season.</p>

<p>The 27-year-old had a successful Desmosedici season despite missing races in India, Japan, and Indonesia owing to rib fractures. He finished tenth in the standings after collecting two Sprint wins, two Grand Prix podiums, and pole position.</p>

<p>Starting from February 6-8, at the official Sepang test, the Marquez brothers will display their 2024 livery, following Marc's deployment of a black and red test livery at Valencia in November. <p>Grand Prix riders and teams often break their MotoGP and contracts according to their convenience and circumstances. After 11 years together, Marc Marquez has announced that he will be leaving Honda at the end of the 2023 season. Honda has not yet named a replacement for Marquez on the factory bike. After only a year with Honda, Alex Rins has announced his intention to switch teams to Yamaha in 2024. Johann Zarco, racing for Pramac Ducati in the 2023 season, will replace him at LCR Honda in 2024. Rumours have also circulated regarding a switch to Repsol for the French rider. Miguel Oliveira and Maverick Vinales are two other riders who might replace Marquez at HRC.</p>

<p>To make a place for Moto2 star Pedro Acosta at Gas Gas for the 2024 season, KTM released Pol Espargaró this week. KTM originally signed both riders but had to rescind their contracts when they learned that MotoGP rules prohibited the Austrian manufacturer from fielding two additional machines. After Franco Morbidelli's departure was announced earlier this year, the VR46 academy rider will be riding for the Pramac team in 2024.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The MotoGP team Gresini Racing has a long and storied history in motorsports. The team is the brainchild of the late Fausto Gresini, a two-time 125cc World Champion. Gresini laid the team's foundation back in 1997.</p>

<p>While working with Honda, the team achieved a remarkable 14 victories between 2002 and 2006. After that, from 2015 to 2021, Gresini took on a new chapter in its illustrious history by receiving&nbsp;direct&nbsp;factory support from&nbsp;Aprilia.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A historic partnership was formed in 2022 when Ducati and Enea Bastianini became part of the Gresini organisation. Bastianini's dominant performance, which included four race victories and a respectable third-place finish in the world championship, was emblematic of the partnership's fruitful results. Bastianini's stellar performance earned him a spot on the prestigious factory Ducati team.</p>
