<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/">Hyundai</a> has registered new trademarks for its CNG product line. In a possible effort to update its CNG range under a new sub-brand, the automaker has submitted trademark applications for the monikers&nbsp;Hy-CNG and Hy-CNG Duo.&nbsp;The Duo suffix also prompts conjecture about whether the company will offer a dual-cylinder setup in the boot following the footsteps of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/tata/">Tata Motors</a>.&nbsp;With the Altroz and Punch CNG models, Tata introduced dual-cylinder technology to its CNG vehicles last year. In 2022, the brand's first CNG cars, the Tiago and Tigor, also received a technological update.&nbsp;Tata Motors employs&nbsp;two smaller 30-litre&nbsp;cylinders,&nbsp;positioned under the boot floor, clearing&nbsp;up useable space within the boot as opposed to conventional CNG setups that use a single, large 60-litre tank in the boot.

Hyundai can achieve similar benefits from the dual-cylinder technology, depending on the packaging. On any such development, though, the brand has not released an official statement.&nbsp;Hyundai currently offers the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, and <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/exter/">Exter</a> as part of its CNG range; but, in&nbsp;the future, the South Korean manufacturer&nbsp;may consider introducing&nbsp;the powerplant option to&nbsp;other models. For the uninitiated, the 1.2-litre bi-fuel petrol mill&nbsp;and&nbsp;five-speed manual gearbox are constant&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;three models.

<h2>Hyundai Inster to Mark Global Debut on June 27</h2>

A couple of weeks back, <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/hyundai-inster-electric-suv-officially-teased-ahead-of-global-debut-later-this-month-117405/">Hyundai teased its upcoming&nbsp;offering, the Inster</a>. The&nbsp;all-electric micro-SUV is all set for its global premiere on June 27&nbsp;during the Busan International Mobility Show.&nbsp;The automaker claims that the terms "Intimate" and "Innovative" are the origin of the Inster moniker.&nbsp;The Casper SUV, which has been on sale&nbsp;in the Korean market since 2021, will serve as the foundation for the Inster. The model will be available&nbsp;in Hyundai's&nbsp;native market&nbsp;under the name "Casper Electric." The car is expected to make its India debut in 2025, possibly as an Exter-based all-electric vehicle.&nbsp;

The teaser photos reveal that the Inster will sport pixel-themed turn signals and taillights along with Casper's circular LED DRLs and headlamps. It&nbsp;will also have a charging port&nbsp;located on the front fender, just like the forthcoming Hyundai Creta EV.&nbsp;The company&nbsp;has yet to disclose details regarding&nbsp;the Inster's specifications or battery pack. Nevertheless, the car promises a 355 km WLTP-certified driving range on a single charge.
