Hyundai has raised the price of the sportier Creta N Line by Rs 11,000.&nbsp;The most recent price hike applies across all variants, including the N8 and N10. As a result,&nbsp;the Creta N Line now starts at Rs 16.93 lakh and goes up to Rs 20.56 lakh (ex-showroom).&nbsp;Buyers can choose from three monotone colours—Titan Grey Matte, Atlas White, and Abyss Black—and&nbsp;three dual-tone options: Thunder Blue with Abyss Black roof, Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof. The Creta N Line competes with the GTX+ and X-Line variants of the Kia Seltos and stands as a strong alternative to the MG Astor, the Skoda Kushaq, and the Volkswagen Taigun. <h2>Hyundai Creta N Line: Powertrain</h2>

The sportier version of Hyundai’s best-selling SUV has the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder&nbsp;turbo-petrol engine found in the standard Creta. This engine delivers 158bhp and 253Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission&nbsp;(offered with paddle shifters).

Hyundai Creta N Line Gets Costlier by Rs 11,000 in India

The sportier version of Hyundai’s best-selling SUV has ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless charging, and an 8-way motorized driver’s seat.

autoX Awards 2024: Among all the cars in our jury round test, and even within the crowded mid-size SUV market, few vehicles receive as much acclaim as the Hyundai Creta, and rightly so. It offers ample space, a host of features, impressive comfort, and an enjoyable driving experience. However, Hyundai India’s leadership believed the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/creta/">Creta</a> was worthy of even greater recognition, leading to the debut of the new Hyundai Creta N-Line this year. With sharper styling, enhanced performance, and the same family-friendly appeal, it aims to raise the bar even higher.

Even before diving into its performance credentials, the Hyundai Creta N-Line makes a strong impression with its styling enhancements. The refreshed front fascia, N-Line-specific 18-inch alloy wheels, double-stacked rear spoiler, blacked-out rear diffuser, and dual chrome-plated exhaust tips all make a bold statement of its sporty aspirations. Our test model featured the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a responsive 7-speed DCT. Notably, the N-Line version is the only Creta variant to offer a 6-speed manual option with a turbocharged petrol engine. The output remains unchanged at 160bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. While its handling is indeed different, its engine performance seems familiar, which I found to be a bit underwhelming. That said, the engine delivers a strong initial surge and accelerates confidently towards the redline but falls flat in the second part of the rev range. While there is still plenty of power on tap, it lacks the exhilarating punch you might expect, especially with an N-Line badge at the back.

That said, two key aspects redeemed the Creta N-Line’s performance in our jury tests. First, the quick-shifting 7-speed DCT compensates well for the engine’s slight flatness by maintaining momentum and keeping the vehicle within the powerband, particularly in Sport mode. The gear ratios are well-calibrated, which adds to driving engagement. And then there is the handling, which showcases the N-Line magic. The electric steering well-weighted and provides greater feedback than the standard model. Additionally, the Creta N-Line’s firmer suspension setup translates into a composed and confident ride. It absorbs rough patches with ease and feels planted around corners. The Creta N-Line consistently delivered a composed and engaging drive, without ever giving the impression that it was out of its element. It gets its basics right and always remained predictable. Overall, it is well-engineered product that is fun-to-drive, and gets all the basics of a mid-size family SUV spot on.

The Hyundai Creta N Line 2024 aims to be the performance SUV of choice for the masses. However, if it wants to take the top spot, it has to dethrone the current segment benchmark for performance SUVs in India – the Volkswagen Taigun GT 2024. Can it do that?

SUV stands for ‘Sport Utility Vehicle’. Now, while I am not sure which industry holds the current world record for the most absurd product abbreviation, the automobile industry, I am sure, must be a strong contender, thanks to SUV. The term is a bit of a misnomer, isn’t it? The moment you hear ‘sport’, you think of something athletic, agile, and lean. But what comes to mind when someone says SUV? Big, ungainly, and lazy – all things that are miles away from anything that has to do with ‘sport’.

But, then, we live in complicated times, and not everything under the sun makes sense. So, naturally, SUVs are the most in-demand type of vehicle in the whole wide world right now. Come to think of it, it’s perhaps the only topic that unites the world currently – weirdly amusing!

Lately, however, a lot of carmakers have been trying to justify the ‘sport’ element in their SUVs, despite the laws of physics suggesting otherwise. And it’s not just high-end luxury SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne or Lamborghini Urus; car manufacturers are making an effort to even spruce up their budget-friendly mundane family SUVs. Take the Hyundai Creta N Line, for instance. This is not the same Creta that every other uncle or aunty in your neighbourhood drives. Nope. This is a sporty Creta, aimed at enthusiasts, with a family of four. But is it any good? Well, to find out, we had no choice but to pit it against the current benchmark of the segment – the Volkswagen Taigun GT, equipped with the stellar 1.5 TSI engine.

Now, before we begin, let’s define the scope of this comparison – we’ll focus solely on the ‘sporty’ aspects of the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/creta-n-line/">Creta N Line</a> and <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/volkswagen/taigun/">Taigun GT</a>. In other words, we stick to just two aspects – performance and handling. So, if you are curious about which one of these offers better cooling for your bum, where your mum would be more comfortable, or which has the largest boot space, well, let me just say that today’s not the day for that kind of discussion.

To assess the performance and handling of the two contenders, we subjected both vehicles to a series of scientific tests. These included a head-to-head 0 – 200m drag race, a 0 – 100km/h acceleration time test, a braking performance test, a roll-on acceleration test, and finally, a handling test involving a timed slalom run. Rest assured, we didn’t cut corners – we tested both the manual and automatic versions of the Creta N Line and Taigun GT.&nbsp;

<h2>Drag King</h2>

We kicked off the proceedings with a classic drag race – 0 to 200m drag, in this case. To ensure consistency and credibility, we decided on a best-of-three format for both the automatic and manual versions of the vehicles. Furthermore, we also decided to swap drivers after a planned run of three races to eliminate variables like driver error, slow reaction times, etc.

We began with manual versions of the Creta N Line and Taigun GT. And, without beating around the bush, let me kill the suspense and tell you that the Creta N Line achieved a clean sweep, winning 3-0 against the Taigun GT!

Now, let’s dive into the details. The Creta N Line’s 1.5-litre turbo-petrol churns out 158bhp and 253Nm, compared to Taigun 1.5’s 148bhp and 250Nm. The numbers make the result obvious, don’t they? Those 10 extra horses and 3Nm made a significant difference in the result. The real question, however, is – how does the performance feel from behind the wheel of each vehicle?

First, let’s discuss the gearbox. Both the vehicles feature a 6-speed tranny in their manual versions. However, the Hyundai’s gearbox feels a touch nicer and slicker to use. The throws are relatively short and precise, complemented by a light clutch action with a consistent biting point. This makes it easier to launch the manual version of the Creta off the line and extract the most from its explosive powertrain. Its JK tyres do, however, set it back a little, as there is considerably more wheelspin before the tyres grip the road firmly. For the performance runs, we turned off the ESC / traction control on both cars, as electronics tend to intervene and cut power during aggressive launches. And, yes, the air conditioning was also turned off in both the cars for whatever little power gains it was worth.

While the Creta N Line MT won the drag races fair and square, the margin of victory was slim – it was a neck-and-neck affair at the finish line. To give you some perspective, the fastest times during the drag showed the N Line crossed the 0 – 200m barrier in 11.18s @ 107.4km/h, while the Taigun GT was only a hair’s breadth behind at 11.38s @ 105.9km/h.

Despite the close numbers, there’s a stark difference in how Hyundai’s T-GDI and VW’s TSI deliver power to the front wheels. The Creta’s engine is more of a linear beast – it’s got solid grunt right from 1,800rpm and maintains it up to 5,500rpm, somewhat like a diesel engine. Beyond 5,500rpm, the performance tapers off. So, to keep the Taigun or any other similarly powered SUV at bay, you don’t need to waste your time chasing the redline – just time your shifts around 5,500rpm, and you’re good.

In contrast, the Taigun’s power delivery is significantly spikey in nature. Turbo lag is quite noticeable below 2,000rpm, but once it hits its stride, the TSI motor really sings to you! Not only is it more freely revving but also more refined, with a raspy induction noise that adds to the overall engagement. Unlike the Creta, the Taigun’s performance doesn’t drop off a cliff near the redline. Instead, it keeps building. This allows you to rev it harder (beyond 6,000rpm) and hold on to a gear for longer. The only fly in the ointment is the notchy gearbox and springy clutch action. It dampens the whole experience, making perfect launches trickier. At this point, you might think the lighting-quick DSG (automatic) might solve this problem, but let me assure you, that’s not the answer!

When we lined up the automatic or dual-clutch equipped versions of the Creta N Line and Taigun, the result was pretty much the same – the Hyundai was slightly quicker, taking the win by 2-1. And yet again, there were noticeable differences in approach.

The biggest surprise was how conservative VW’s DSG was compared to the Hyundai’s DCT. From a standstill, the Taigun’s computers refuse to dump the clutch, bogging it down severely. You plant the accelerator pedal on the floor and wait for what feels like an eternity before it starts to move. I intentionally used the word ‘move’ and not ‘launch’ because it’s really slow, causing it to lose significant ground to the Creta N Line even before it starts moving. Credit to Hyundai engineers for being a little less cautious, for the Creta gets off the line without getting bogged down. While it’s not as furious or unhinged as the manual version, it’s more lenient in its approach, giving it a clear edge during launch.

That said, the Creta’s dual-clutch isn’t as snappy as VW’s DSG once you’re on the move. The DSG, then, is clearly the better transmission in terms of shift times. It is also better tuned to extract maximum performance from the powertrain. After a sluggish start, the DSG makes up for the lost ground quickly, and with each gear shift, it reels the Creta N Line back in. This is reflected in our VBOX numbers as well. The Creta DCT clocked 0 – 60km/h in 5.22s compared to the Taigun, which took 5.33s. The Hyundai took another 5.29s to cross the 100km/h mark (10.51s), whereas the Taigun stayed close by taking another 5.47s (10.80s). The roll-on times also show that the Taigun pulls harder from 30 – 70km/h in 3.69s (vs 3.89s of the Creta) and 50 – 70km/h in 1.96s (vs 2.09s). Although the Creta crosses the 0 – 200m mark first (11.76s @ 107.6km/h vs 11.93s @ 106.9km/h), if you keep the throttles pinned for another 200m or so, the Taigun will not only catch up with the Creta but also surpass it. This is solely because of the DSG’s quicker shift times – the Creta shifts gears in a slightly relaxed or comfort-oriented manner, while the DSG hurriedly swaps cogs to save every millisecond it can.

Another point worth mentioning about the automatic gearboxes is their behaviour in manual mode. The Creta’s DCT doesn’t allow you to hold a gear and shifts up on its own well before the redline, especially from first to second, where it shifts at just 5,000rpm. The Taigun, on the other hand, lets you rev the engine to the limit in manual mode. It’s also tuned to shift gears as high up in the rev range as it can to utilise the engine’s strong top-end. Also, while the Creta gets large and chunky sportscar-like paddle shifters, the Taigun’s tiddly paddles offer more engaging and quicker responses.&nbsp;

<h2>Bend Over</h2>

As they say, power is nothing without control. So, how well do these SUVs do in terms of driving dynamics?

To find out, we created a temporary slalom course – eight cones, each 35 feet apart – to test the steering, body roll, suspension setup, and tyre performance of the two SUVs. To make it as objective as possible, we timed each run with a stopwatch, of course. The task was simple – start at one end, slalom through the cones without hitting any, take a U-turn at the last cone, slalom back through the course, and stop the watch right at the start point. We used the manual versions of both SUVs for the task and did three runs in each, just like the drag race.

I started with the Creta N Line. While driving the N Line version, it was quite evident that Hyundai has tweaked the suspension and steering of the standard Creta to make it worthy of the N Line badge. The suspension is markedly stiffer, and the steering undoubtedly has more heft to it. Then there’s the tyres – the Creta N Line gets bigger 18-inch wheels shod with 215/55 low-profile rubber. There’s a clear intent to make it feel sporty, which is evident as soon as you take the wheel. But how far has Hyundai pushed the envelope? It was time to find out.

As I took the Creta’s sporty N Line wheel – it’s great to hold, I must say – through the first pair of cones, the steering felt a bit better in terms of feedback and a lot more direct and precise than that of the standard version, although somewhat artificially heavy. The body roll increased with speed, rather exponentially, I might add. The car leaned significantly during quick transitions, and I was getting thrown around in the process. That said, despite the discomfort, the Creta tracked the intended line without any trouble at a decent pace of 50 – 55km/h. Surprisingly, I was able to thread between the cones without hitting them. I’d say this was primarily because of its low-profile rubber and bigger wheels, which provided better lateral grip. The Creta’s best time was 35.11s.

Now, we’ve long considered the Taigun to be the best-driving SUV in its segment, along with its Skoda twin. So, is that still the case? Well, very much so. The Taigun definitely feels a lot more connected and driver-focused – the steering is more direct, the front end is sharper, and it kind of shrinks around you, which is quite surprising because it has the longer wheelbase of the two (2,650mm vs 2,610mm). It feels more of a hot-hatch with a higher ground clearance. So, of course, it clocked a faster time than the Creta N Line on the handling course, albeit by a whisker – 34.69s. However, I feel that the Taigun could have clocked an even faster time had it not been for its high-profile tyres and smaller wheels – the manual version we tested was fitted with 205/60-R16 tyres. The higher profile resulted in more sidewall flex, especially during quick, aggressive direction changes in a tight space. This wasn’t helped by its engine’s spikey power delivery. So, every time I accelerated, the sudden burst of power overwhelmed the front tyres, causing it to understeer early on. It was quite frustrating because the chassis, steering, and suspension felt more tied down than the Creta’s. I must also add that the Taigun’s driving position is sportier, and the seat contours offer better side support, especially during cornering.

Also, when you’re blasting down an expressway at triple-digit speeds, the Taigun again stands out, as it feels more planted and absorbent. To be fair, there’s nothing wrong with the Creta N Line, as it can also maintain triple-digit speeds comfortably all day. It’s just that when you drive both vehicles back-to-back, you notice that the Taigun inspires more confidence and feels more connected to the driver.&nbsp;

<h2>Verdict</h2>

If you ask me which one is the better driver’s SUV of the two, I won’t mince words – it’s the Taigun GT. It handles better, and its TSI motor is explosive and engaging. Plus, if you’re a skilled driver, you won’t be left in the dust of the Creta N Line. The DSG transmission is superior, and while its manual gearbox may not be perfect, it’s not a deal breaker either. It’s also a bit of a sleeper, which is something I really like about it. Lastly, it’s nearly as quick as the N Line despite having 10 horses less. But the key word here is ‘nearly’.

The Creta N Line, to me, is a more complete out-of-the-box sporty family SUV of the two. It has more firepower and a better manual transmission. And if you don’t care much about outright grip and the G-forces in your family SUV, it’s effortlessly involving to drive. Not to mention, it looks more special and appealing compared to the Taigun, thanks to all the sporty bits and bobs inside and out. Interestingly, none of that comes at an additional price, as the top-end variants of both the Taigun and Creta N Line are separated by only ₹50,000 or so. And, last but not least, the Creta scores more points in terms of practicality, space, fit-and-finish, and overall feel-good factor inside the cabin. Sure, these aspects were not among the criteria for our comparison, but they nonetheless play a crucial role for anyone wanting a family SUV.

To sum it up, I’d say that if you want a family SUV that’s sporty to drive, go for the Creta N Line. However, if you want a sporty SUV that can also double up as a family vehicle, look no further than the Taigun GT.

Which one better justifies the ‘Sport’ in the term SUV, the Creta N Line or the Taigun GT? We pitch them against each other in a series of tests, including a drag race, slalom run, and more, to find out.

Hyundai India&nbsp;recently launched the N Line version of its popular Creta SUV for a starting price of Rs 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the third&nbsp;model in the South Korean automaker's portfolio to get an N Line treatment, following&nbsp;the Venue N Line and the i20 N Line. The newly added&nbsp;model comes with several exterior&nbsp;and interior modifications over the standard Creta along with a tweaked&nbsp;suspension setup and a sharper exhaust system with dual tips. The bookings for the N Line SUV are currently open for a token amount of Rs 25,000.&nbsp;We already know that the standard&nbsp;Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos have a lot of things in common. Now that <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/">Hyundai</a>&nbsp;also rolled out a sportier Creta in the form of N Line model just&nbsp;like the Kia's Seltos X-Line, let's see how both the top-spec models compare against each other.&nbsp;

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line Spec Comparison:&nbsp; Engine Specs</h2>

In terms of the drivetrain, the Seltos X-line receives both petrol&nbsp;and diesel options, while the Creta N line only gets&nbsp;a petrol model. The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol mill, producing 160bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 253Nm of peak torque, drives&nbsp;both the petrol Creta N line and the Seltos X-line.&nbsp;While the Seltos&nbsp;only comes equipped with&nbsp;a seven-speed DCT, the Creta N line can be had with two gearbox options: a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT.

The 1.5-litre&nbsp;engine of the Kia Seltos diesel X-line develops 250Nm of torque and 116bhp.&nbsp;The only available transmission&nbsp;for it is a six-speed torque converter. A few technical improvements, including stronger suspension, revised steering dynamics, and a throaty exhaust tone with twin tips, have been&nbsp;added to the Hyundai Creta N range. There are none for the Seltos X-line.

However, the two midsize SUVs have the same 190mm of ground clearance,&nbsp;18-inch wheels, and 2,610mm of wheelbase.&nbsp;

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line Spec Comparison: Design and Colour Options</h2>

Speaking of the available colour options, three dual-tone paint schemes—Thunder Blue, Shadow Grey, and Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof—as well as three single-tone colors—Titan Grey Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Atlas White—are offered for the Creta N Line. Design-wise, the SUV&nbsp;has an N Line-spec front grille, red inserts in the front and rear bumpers, new 18-inch alloy wheels, red-painted brake callipers, red inserts on the side sills, a dual-tip exhaust, and N Line badges on the front, side, and rear of the vehicle.

In contrast, an Xclusive Matte Graphite paint job is available on the Kia Seltos X-Line facelift. The manufacturer swapped off the chrome highlights for black ones on the model. Its exterior layout is further improved by a new front bumper with a black skid plate.&nbsp;An internal mix of green and black inlays is included in the X-Line.&nbsp;

It has several N Line-specific characteristics, including a redesigned steering wheel, gear stick, and front seat fabric with embroidered&nbsp;N.&nbsp;The cabin of the Seltos X-Line is completely black, with Sage Green accents in place of White ones found in the regular GT models. Additionally, it features X Line embroidered on the headrests and sage green leatherette seats with a chevron design.

The cars have many features in common, yet they differ from one another. In addition to a spoiler and full LED lighting, both models get 18-inch alloy wheels. Other&nbsp;conveniences come in the form of&nbsp;wireless phone connectivity, ventilated seats, wireless charging, a sunroof, and dual TFT screens that serve as the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.&nbsp;Six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, connected car features, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and ADAS are all included in the safety package of the Creta N Line and Seltos X Line.

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line Review: Design &amp; Features</h2>

One of the biggest distinguishing factors between the N Line range of cars and the regular versions is design. Let's begin with the front, which is also my favourite aspect of the Creta N Line's design. The grille now sits lower, with a striking one-piece DRL strip dominating the entire upper half. Now, in my opinion, this particular section of the front end exhibits Range Rover Sport vibes and looks pretty cool. Moreover, there are N Line badges at the front, side, and rear to remind you that it's not the regular Creta. While the side angle of the N Line is similar to the regular model, the wheels are not, for the former gets N Line-specific 18-inch alloy wheels, which give it a breath of fresh air. Plus, there are contrasting red accents throughout the entire length of the car, converging at the rear diffuser. The rear of the car, on the other hand, features three main changes in comparison to that of the regular version – a double-stacked rear spoiler, chrome-plated dual-exhaust tips, and, as mentioned, a rear diffuser. Now, overall, the design of the Hyundai Creta N Line is extremely eye-catching. I have been kind of on the fence about the design of the recently launched Creta facelift, but I think that the new N Line is the most handsome Creta variant to date.

Inside, the Hyundai Creta N Line gets similar treatment to that of other N Line models. This means a completely blacked-out interior with red accents and N Line badges on the seats and gear lever, along with an N Line-specific steering wheel and gear lever. The chunky, smaller steering wheel and stubbier gear lever feel sportier to hold and give you better leverage when driving enthusiastically. In terms of features, however, things are the same as the regular Hyundai Creta.

This means a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and infotainment system combination, panoramic sunroof, Bose audio system with integrated Jio Saavn app, ventilated front seats, dual-zone AC, and so on. It's worth noting that the <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/hyundai-creta-variants-explained-e-s-sx-or-n-line-which-one-should-you-pick-116441/">N10 version we tested is based on the Creta SX(O) version, while the N8 is based on the S(O) version</a>.

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line Review: Performance</h2>

The whole idea of an <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/car-reviews/hyundai-i20-n-line-review-first-drive-110023/">N Line variant</a> is to inject an extra dose of excitement into driving compared to the regular version, and the Creta N Line does it to an extent. I mean, it does have a bit more zest to its performance, but the transformation isn't as drastic as one would expect from a vehicle wearing the N badge, especially in terms of engine. Hyundai seems to have missed the opportunity to position the Creta N Line as the flagship model of the range, which kind of left me a bit disappointed. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which makes 160bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. While the unit offers loads of grunt propelling the vehicle off the line and continues to pull progressively to the red line, it falls flat rather quickly once you enter the second half of the rev range.

Mash the throttle pedal above 4,000rpm on the highway, and the car surges forward, but it doesn't excite or overwhelm you. What really adds to the excitement is the quick-shifting 7-speed DCT, which can also be operated via paddle shifters. The gear ratios are spaced out well, and the DCT always tries its best to keep you in the powerband. The Hyundai Creta N Line is also the only model in the range which offers customers the choice of a 6-speed manual gearbox with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. Due to a lack of time during the test, we couldn't test the manual transmission properly. That said, it was clear in the limited time we tested it that its gear shifts are light and direct, and the clutch is equally easy to use. Furthermore, the sensation of manually shifting gears in a performance-oriented car adds an extra layer of satisfaction.

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line Review: Handling</h2>

While the performance transformation of the Creta N Line is not overwhelming, its handling...well, let's just that the N Line magic is conspicuously apparent in the Creta N Line's handling. The most notable improvement lies in the tuned steering, which now feels better weighted and offers superior feedback. it not only makes driving more enjoyable but also instils confidence while pushing the vehicle into corners. Hyundai has also made significant changes to its suspension setup. The Creta Hyundai N Line feels considerably stiffer than the regular Creta but not overbearingly so. It stays planted around corners and remains pliant over bad roads. During the test, we drove it over a mix of highways, single-lane roads, and twisty bi-lanes, and it took it all in its stride and never felt out of its element.

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line Review: Verdict</h2>

So, what’s my verdict on the Hyundai Creta N Line? Well, I began this review thinking that I'd focus on this sporty SUV’s excellent performance. However, by the end of it, I find myself smitten by its striking aesthetics. Yes, it’s more fun to drive and responsive compared to the regular version, but if I had to pick the Creta N Line over the regular version, I'd do it not because of its performance but because of its styling upgrades. This, however, might cause a problem for Hyundai, for those expecting better performance from the package might find themselves less impressed despite its edgy styling.

Hyundai Motor India has launched its flagship N Line model in India, the Creta N Line. Similar to the i20 and Venue N Line, it gets a host of styling and mechanical upgrades. So, is this now the best version of the Hyundai Creta to date?

Hyundai has added&nbsp;a sportier version of the Creta SUV&nbsp;to the&nbsp;N Line range. Called&nbsp;the Hyundai&nbsp;Creta N Line, the new SUV is available at a starting price of Rs 16.82 lakh&nbsp;for the&nbsp;N8 MT variant, while the top-spec N10 DCT variant costs Rs 20.30 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Bookings for the Creta N Line are already underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The&nbsp;Creta N Line is the brand's third&nbsp;N performance division car&nbsp;in the country, and like the Venue N Line and the i20 N Line, it comes with cosmetic updates both inside and out, a retuned suspension setup, and a sportier exhaust system with dual tips.

Styling-wise, the Hyundai Creta N Line has a sportier&nbsp;front fascia, characterised by&nbsp;a slender grille and&nbsp;a revised bumper with silver inserts,&nbsp;large air inlets, and cuts and&nbsp;creases. However,&nbsp;elements like headlamps, sequential indicators, and L-shaped LED daytime running lights remain the same.&nbsp;On the sides, there are&nbsp;N&nbsp;Line-specific red accents and&nbsp;side skirts,&nbsp;N Line badging, and bigger 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with red brake callipers. The regular Creta model, in comparison, comes with&nbsp;16- and 17-inch wheels.&nbsp;At the rear, the Creta N Line features&nbsp;a reworked bumper, dual-tip exhaust pipes, and a larger roof-mounted spoiler, along with&nbsp;side skirts and red accents. The car also gets a new&nbsp;3-spoke steering wheel with contrast red stitching, red ambient lighting, leather upholstery, a new gear lever, and metal pedals. Based on the top-spec&nbsp;SX(O) variant of the Creta, the&nbsp;Hyundai Creta N Line gets twin&nbsp;10.25-inch screens&nbsp;for the infotainment and instrumentation, 70+&nbsp;connected car features, 148 embedded voice commands, a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats,&nbsp;an eight-way motorised driver's seat,&nbsp;a Bose music system with 8 speakers, dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless charging.&nbsp;

Safety-wise, the company's flagship N Line model comes with&nbsp;42 standard safety features (six airbags, electronic&nbsp;parking brake, ESC, etc.) and over 70&nbsp;advanced safety features, including a 360-degree surround-view monitor, blind-view monitor, and Level 2 ADAS).&nbsp;

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line: Powertrain</h2>

Powering the&nbsp;Hyundai Creta N Line is the same turbo-petrol engine that propels the 2024 Hyundai&nbsp;Creta. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol unit produces 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. The carmaker claims&nbsp;the car can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 8.9 seconds.&nbsp;

Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (offered with paddle shifters). The car comes with three&nbsp;drive modes&nbsp;– Normal, Eco, and Sport&nbsp;– and three traction control modes – Snow, Sand, and Mud.&nbsp;

<h2>Hyundai Creta N Line: Price</h2>
