<p>Royal Enfield&nbsp;has officially announced that its scrambler-like bike&nbsp;will make its global debut next week, on November 5, 2024.&nbsp;Called the Interceptor Bear 650,&nbsp;the upcoming bike is Royal Enfield's fifth model with a 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine. It is expected to be positioned between the 650 twins and priced around Rs 3.40–Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom) at launch.&nbsp;Royal Enfield has not yet confirmed the exact launch date of the bike,&nbsp;but industry rumours suggest it will go on sale during the brand's&nbsp;Motoverse event (November 22–24, 2024) in Goa.</p>

<h2>Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650: Design</h2>

<p>Based on the previously leaked images, the production-ready bike has a design inspired by the scrambler.&nbsp;It incorporates several features from the Interceptor 650, such as a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, a tubular grab rail, and a round LED headlamp. However, it sets itself apart with unique LED taillights and turn signals.&nbsp;The Bear 650 also features a new seat, shorter fenders, and a more compact 2-into-1 exhaust system, and updated side panels. Other distinguishing elements include&nbsp;knobbly tyres,&nbsp;wire-spoked wheels, and upside-down front forks.</p>

<h2>Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650: Features and Hardware</h2>

<p>The upcoming bike will include a single-pod instrument cluster,&nbsp;possibly a full TFT, or an analog-TFT device with Bluetooth, according to the leaked images. It could have&nbsp;switchable ABS (anti-lock braking system) and USB charging.</p>

<p>The Interceptor Bear 650's hardware consists of a steel chassis supported&nbsp;by twin rear shocks and upside-down front forks, both of which have greater travel than the Interceptor 650. Stopping power comes from a disc at both ends. Given that it's a Scrambler,&nbsp;the wheels are expected to measure 19 inches in front and 17 inches in back.</p>

Recently, a trademark document has popped up online, revealing a possible name for one of these motorcycles. There is no official confirmation, however, it is possible that the upcoming Scrambler&nbsp;could be the one to get the newly trademarked name - the Bear 650. According to market reports, the parent company of Royal Enfield, Eicher Motors, has applied for the right to use the names: Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 in Australia and Interceptor Bear 650 in New Zealand as trademarks.
