The Invicto is finally returning to the Maruti Suzuki team, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings. Sure, with its CVT + Hybrid setup, it wasn’t the most exciting to drive. But, to be honest, it does a really good job of what it is supposed to do. Its practicality and comfort, of course, cannot be matched. Sure, the ride can be a bit firm for some, but to be honest, I much prefer it over the Innova Crysta. The three rows of seating are very usable and I prefer the black upholstery the Invicto comes in. 
The driving appeal is not one of its strengths, but it makes up in refinement, fuel efficiency and comfort. If you actually do long distance travelling, the Invicto makes a lot of sense. The super-efficient hybrid powerplant can lead to a lot of savings in fuel consumption, something I saw first-hand in my time with the car. With my driving style, getting an overall figure of over 13km/l in a petrol-powered vehicle is actually very good. And given its space, practicality and features, I really can’t find much to fault with the Invicto. Maruti Suzuki Invicto Long Term Review, February 2025 Report

Sure, the ride of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto can be a bit firm for some, but to be honest, I much prefer it over the Innova Crysta.

Maruti Suzuki has reported total sales of 1,97,471 units in February 2024, registering a 15 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase over February 2023's sales volume of 1,72,321 units. The company's entry-level models, the Alto and the S-Presso, continued to reel under stress, with sales plunging to 14,782 units compared to 21,875 units sold in February 2023. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki's subcompact cars – Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR – were delivered to 71,627 buyers, registering a 10 per cent YoY decline last month. Last but not least, the midsize Ciaz sedan also remained on a downward path and clocked 481 units.

Speaking of sedans<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/maruti-suzuki-dzire-becomes-best-selling-sedan-in-january-hyundai-verna-beats-virtus-to-make-cut-in-top-5-116244/">,&nbsp;the Maruti Suzuki Dzire was&nbsp;the best-selling sedan in January 2024</a>&nbsp;with 16,773 units, up from 14,012 units in December 2023, thereby accounting&nbsp;for a 48 per cent YoY increase. Under the hood, the&nbsp;Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets&nbsp;a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine with 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The same mill, mated to&nbsp;a 5-speed MT, produces 76bhp and 98.5Nm while operating on CNG. The sedan&nbsp;comes in four&nbsp;variants — ZXi, ZXi+, VXi, and LXi — with ex-showroom pricing ranging from Rs 6.57 lakh to Rs 9.39 lakh.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: UV Segment</h2>

However, a notable 83 per cent YoY growth&nbsp;was recorded by the company's utility vehicles lineup, including&nbsp;the&nbsp;Brezza, <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/industry-news/maruti-suzuki-ertiga-becomes-the-first-mpv-to-surpass-10-lakh-unit-sales-mark-in-india-116118/">Ertiga (the first MPV to cross the 10 lakh unit sales mark in India</a>), Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny,and XL6. The UVs'&nbsp;February 2024&nbsp;sales stood at 61,234 units as opposed to&nbsp;33,550 units in February 2023. The only van offered by Maruti Suzuki&nbsp;– Eeco – clocked 12,147 units, denoting an increase of 7 per cent.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: Exports</h2>

While the company's domestic sales for February 2024 grew by a mere 9 per cent, exports witnessed a staggering 68 per cent growth to 28,927 units. In February 2023, the domestic sales and exports stood at 1,55,114 units and 17,207 units, respectively.&nbsp;&nbsp;Of 1,68,544 domestic passenger vehicles registered last month, 5,147 units went to Toyota India, marking a 20 per cent YoY increase.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki February 2024: CV Segment</h2>

In the commercial vehicle segment,&nbsp;the Maruti Suzuki&nbsp;Super Carry&nbsp;– the company's sole commercial vehicle in India – posted a 6 per cent degrowth in February 2024. First introduced in 2016, the Super Carry now comes powered by a&nbsp;1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K-Series dual jet, dual VVT engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Baleno, and more. When running on petrol, the car produces&nbsp;80bhp at 6,000rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 2,900rpm. In CNG mode, it&nbsp;makes 71bhp at 6,000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 2,800rpm.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Exterior &amp; Interior</h2>

The Invicto has updated front and rear bumpers, a new grille with two chrome slats, horizontally oriented LED DRLs, and altered LED headlights and taillights. Aside from this, the all-new MPV rides on brand-new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the recently launched multipurpose car from Maruti Suzuki has an all-black interior with Champagne Gold highlights, in contrast to the Innova Hycross interior theme of black and brown with silver accents.&nbsp;The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility has been lifted from the Toyota counterpart.

Other notable interior features of the SUV include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, a powered driver's seat, and ventilated front seats.&nbsp;In addition, the new MPV is available in seven- and eight-seat layouts. The former seat arrangement has captain seats in the second row.&nbsp;The Invicto's boot has a capacity of 239 litre, however, it can be increased to 690 litre by folding down the third row.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Powertrain</h2>

Under the bonnet, the MPV comes equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. It is connected to an e-CVT and has a combined power output of 183bhp.&nbsp;According to the carmaker, the Invicto is a potent hybrid vehicle that also has an electric-only mode. It can reach from a standstill to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds. Additionally, it claims a fuel efficiency of 23.24 km/l.&nbsp;

<h2>Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Features</h2>

The MPV offers several features, which differ according to the variants.&nbsp;The Invicto Zeta + comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, LED headlamps and taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a chrome finish on the tailboard outside in the Zeta Plus specification. Inside, it gets an adjustable headrest for every seat, steering wheel and gear shifter encased in leather, cooled cup holders, rear air conditioning vents, ambient lighting, and second-row sunshades. Aside from Suzuki Connect, other features include six speakers and an eight-inch SmartPlay Magnum touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, powered ORVMs, steering-mounted controls, and more.&nbsp;
