<h2>New Style</h2>

<p>Jaguar's new brand identity includes four main elements: two logos, a typeface, a colour palette, and a graphic code called "strikethrough." The typeface, referred to as a "device mark," combines uppercase and lowercase letters to spell out "Jaguar." It is displayed in gold on a white background with horizontally aligned rectangles.</p>

<p>The background is an example of the "strikethrough" graphic code, which consists of horizontal lines within a rectangular frame. The "strikethrough" also appears in the redesigned "leaper" logo, an updated version of the jaguar mascot. The new "leaper" logo presents a more angular representation of the pouncing cat.</p>

<p>The jaguar face logo, which has been used on the grilles of Jaguar cars for the past two decades, is replaced by a new circular badge. The emblem features the letters ‘J’ and ‘r’ in brass within a circle, linked by a curved border.&nbsp;The logos are complemented by a new colour palette, based on primary colours—red, blue, and yellow—that reflect the value of ‘exuberance’.</p>

<h2>The Jaguar EV</h2>

<p>Jaguar has not yet revealed how its new logos will appear on future cars, but more details will come when the automaker shows a "design vision" concept car at Miami Art Week on December 2. The concept will give a first look at the first car in Jaguar's updated lineup, which started public road testing last week, with teaser images of an electric four-door grand tourer in camouflage.</p>

<p>The car is expected to go into production by the end of 2026. Jaguar shared that its electric platform will aim for a range of up to 692km and the ability to add 321km of range in 15 minutes with a Level 3 fast charger.</p>

<p>Jaguar is focusing on design, saying its electric cars will stand out with a unique look. The company criticized the current EV market for its high-riding, aerodynamic designs and plans to offer cars with a lower, longer shape.</p>


Jaguar Unveils New Logo as It Prepares for Electric Future

Jaguar has unveiled its new logo as part of its plans for the future of manufacturing. The British luxury automaker is set to launch three new electric vehicles in 2026.

<p>JLR&nbsp;India&nbsp;has begun deliveries of the locally assembled Range Rover Sport SUV. This follows the company's announcement to manufacture the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs in India, making India the first country outside of the UK to roll out the two SUVs. JLR already assembles the Velar, Evoque, Jaguar F-Pace, and Discovery Sport at its Pune facility, which has a production capacity of 10,000 units per year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Range Rover Sport's price with local assembly is Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom), the same for both the petrol and diesel versions. The locally assembled Range Rover Sport gets two engine options: the 3.0-litre petrol Dynamic SE, which produces 394bhp and 550Nm, and the 3.0-litre diesel Dynamic SE, which develops 346bhp and 700Nm. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.&nbsp;</p>

Locally Assembled Range Rover Sport SUV Deliveries Begin, Priced at Rs 1.40 Crore

JLR India has begun deliveries of the locally assembled Range Rover Sport SUV. The SUV is available in a single Dynamic SE variant priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom).

<p>Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has released its sales figures for the first quarter of the financial year 2025, clocking over 30 percent year-over-year (YoY) growth. The automaker sold&nbsp;1,371 units compared to the same period of the last financial year ending March 2024 (1,048 units). Furthermore,&nbsp;JLR said&nbsp;its wholesale volumes grew over 45 percent year-over-year in Q1 FY2025,&nbsp;creating record sales for the automaker.&nbsp;</p>

<p>JLR attributed this growth to its <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/land-rover/defender/">Defender</a> and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/land-rover/range-rover/">Range Rover</a> lineups. The Defender along with the Range Rover Evoque accounted for over 50 percent sales growth, with the former emerging as the highest-selling model in Q1 FY2025. Moreover, the combined sales of the Range Rover,&nbsp;Range Rover Sport,&nbsp;and Defender made up 75 percent of the company's total order book.</p>

<h2>Range Rover Sport SV Celestial Collection Unveiled</h2>

<p>The Range Rover Sport SV Celestial Collection has been unveiled by Land Rover.&nbsp;This collection, which includes five unique models – Gaea, Theia, Io, Vega, and Sol – is inspired by mythology and heavenly bodies. Special colour schemes, carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fibre hood, 23-inch wheels, fabric and trim inserts, and other distinctive stylistic elements are all part of the limited edition.</p>

<p>The cabin is more understated than the exterior, with upholstery options including non-leather ebony upholstery with yellow stitching and navy Windsor leather with mild contrast stitching.</p>


JLR India Announces 5-year Service Plan For Land Rover, Range Rover, and Jaguar Models

<p>JLR India has announced the commencement of local assembly for select variants of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs. The Range Rover Sport's Dynamic SE will be available with a 3.0-litre petrol or diesel engine, priced at Rs 1.40 crore, offering a savings of up to Rs 29 lakh. The full-size Range Rover comes in two trim levels: the 3.0 Diesel LWB HSE at Rs 2.36 crore and the 3.0 Petrol LWB Autobiography at Rs 2.60 crore (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom), both with price reductions of up to Rs 56 lakh. Despite the local assembly initiative, many other variants will continue to be imported as CBUs. JLR's Pune facility, which already assembles the Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and Jaguar F-Pace, will handle the local assembly of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. Notably, India is the first market where JLR locally assembles both models.</p>

<h2>Updated Land Rover Defender: Powertrain</h2>

<p>The D350 engine, which replaced the D300 engine globally, has given the Defender an essential&nbsp;boost&nbsp;in its diesel portfolio. This engine adds 49bhp&nbsp;more power than its predecessor, delivering 345bhp, and gains an extra 50Nm of torque, for a total of 700Nm.&nbsp;Although the new engine's performance numbers are under wraps, it will undoubtedly beat the D300's 7.0-second 0-100km/h time. This unit comes mated to ZF's eight-speed transmission.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moving on,&nbsp;A 419bhp version&nbsp;of the brand's supercharged 5.0-litre V8 has taken the place of the P400 Ingenium straight-six petrol&nbsp;mill. Furthermore, JLR&nbsp;has replaced&nbsp;the plug-in hybrid Defender's&nbsp;2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with the P300e setup found in the Evoque and Discovery Sport PHEVs. The 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine of the Defender P300e, when paired with the electric motors, produces 306bhp overall. According to&nbsp;the brand, these&nbsp;improvements make&nbsp;the Defender even more appealing as it provides increased adaptability and quicker reactions, which leads to smooth overtaking&nbsp;and towing.</p>

<h2>Updated Land Rover Defender: Sedona Edition</h2>

<p><a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/land-rover/">Land Rover</a> has also unveiled&nbsp;the Sedona Edition, which is&nbsp;based on the Defender 110. The front row features supportive winged headrests and 14-way electrically adjustable&nbsp;seats with memory, heating, and cooling capabilities.&nbsp;The second row features temperature-controlled seats with winged headrests (Defender 110 and 130), whereas heated seats are now offered for the third row.</p>

<p>Other significant&nbsp;elements of the pack comprise&nbsp;Windsor Leather and Kvadrat seats, new Ultrafabrics, and a tactile Suedecloth headlining, which provides a beautiful and comfortable interior ambience.&nbsp;Land Rover claims that&nbsp;safety is still their&nbsp;priority. <p>Land Rover will offer&nbsp;the Defender 130 with heated and cooled&nbsp;captain seats in the second row.&nbsp;The middle passenger area is now available for use&nbsp;to access&nbsp;the third row, and there are additional cup holders in the centre. The captain chair seats can also be equipped with winged headrests on the X and V8 variants, or as part of the Signature Interior Pack on the X-Dynamic HSE.</p>

<h2>Range Rover Electric Prototype Winter Testing: More Details</h2>

<p>JLR claims that the upcoming e-SUV will perform better on icy or low-grip surfaces compared to its traditional counterpart. It stated ''Rather than a traditional traction control setup based solely in the ABS unit, Range Rover Electric distributes the wheel slip management task directly to each electric drive control unit, reducing the torque reaction time at each wheel from around 100 ms, to as little as 1 ms'. The company also added ''Innovative software, developed in-house by JLR, enables precise EDU speed control for accurate management of wheel slip, reducing the need for ABS intervention.''</p>

<h2>Range Rover Electric: Powertrain and Other Details&nbsp;</h2>

<p>The technical specifications of the electrified SUV are currently unclear, except for the 800V charging architecture that allows for fast charging. The EV will include Jaguar Land Rover's flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA). It is expected to have a dual-motor setup and 4WD and torque vectoring. JLR has revealed the first official pictures of the upcoming Range Rover Electric undergoing rigorous winter testing. The all-electric SUV is expected to make its public debut in late 2024 and go on sale in India the following year.

<p>Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has achieved its highest-ever sales in the last five years. It reported selling&nbsp;4,436 vehicles, representing a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 81 per cent in the last financial year, which ended March 31, 2024. JLR India says this is one of its best performances since its official entry into the Indian market in 2009. The company attributed this growth to the Land Rover Defender and the Range Rover, which saw a YoY&nbsp;increase of 120 and 160 per cent, respectively. Moreover, the Range Rover Evoque recorded&nbsp;a 55 per cent&nbsp;YoY growth, while the&nbsp;2024&nbsp;Discovery Sport witnessed a 50 per cent increase in the previous year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking of the Discovery Sport, JLR&nbsp;launched the 2024 iteration of the luxury SUV&nbsp;in the Indian market in January, with prices starting at Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new SUV comes with two engine options:&nbsp;a 2.0-litre petrol engine and&nbsp;a 2.0-litre diesel engine.&nbsp;The former features a&nbsp;48V mild-hybrid system and delivers&nbsp;245hp and 365Nm of torque, while the latter makes 201bhp and 430Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to all wheels through a&nbsp;9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.&nbsp;</p>
