<p>After unveiling its two&nbsp;John Cooper Works (JCW) versions of the Cooper and Aceman EVs at the Paris Motor Show 2024, Mini has now brought out the new 3-door Cooper in hatchback and convertible guises. Both versions use the JCW moniker&nbsp;and are offered with a petrol powertrain. Speaking of, the 2025 Mini Cooper JCW Hatchback and JCW Convertible are still powered by the same&nbsp;2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine&nbsp;but, the B48 engine&nbsp;–&nbsp;as Mini calls it – makes 380Nm of peak torque, up from 320Nm in the previous models. The power output remains the same, though&nbsp;– 228bhp. Power is sent to the front axle through a&nbsp;7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which enables the user to shift gears by using the paddle shifters positioned behind the steering wheel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In terms of performance, the new Mini JCW Hatchback can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds, while the 2025 JCW Convertible takes 6.4 seconds to reach 100km/h. The&nbsp;Hatchback is faster than the Convertible, topping out at 250km/h. The latter has a top speed of 245km/h.</p>

<h2>2025 Mini JCW, JCW Convertible: Exterior</h2>

<p>Design-wise, the 2025 petrol-powered JCW models stand apart from the standard models with additional&nbsp;air vents and a JCW logo. There is a black&nbsp;octagonal&nbsp;grille flanked by two air intakes&nbsp;with vertical red strips. Other JCW-specific elements include LED daytime running lamps, a central exhaust pipe, a black rear diffuser, red brake callipers, and a new rear spoiler. The updated JCW cars come with either sporty 17-inch or&nbsp;18-inch alloy wheels.</p>

<p>The hatchback, which comes in 11 exterior paint schemes, can be had with a contrasting roof. The Convertible allows buyers to combine an&nbsp;exclusive Copper Grey exterior finish with either a black or&nbsp;a contrasting grey Union Jack pattern for the soft top.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Inside, the new JCW models boast a red-and-black theme, with sports seats&nbsp;upholstered in black synthetic leather and red accent stitching. The cars also get a JCW-specific sports steering wheel,&nbsp;a 9.4-inch central&nbsp;OLED display, a Harman Kardon sound system, stainless steel pedals, and four surround-view cameras.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While the&nbsp;2025 JCW versions have been launched in the UK, Mini has yet to confirm whether the models will be introduced in India.&nbsp;</p>


2025 Mini JCW, JCW Convertible Revealed Globally with 228bhp Turbo-petrol Engine and DCT

The 2025Mini JCW Hatchback can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds, while the JCW Convertible takes 6.4 seconds to do the same.

<p>Mini has pulled the wraps off the new&nbsp;John Cooper Works Countryman, which features&nbsp;a sporty design and a 296bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with ALL4 all-wheel-drive. Redesigned for the global market, the 2025 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman gets an octagonal grille with an air intake below, sleek LED headlamps, an upright silhouette, aggressively styled front and rear bumpers with red accents, newly designed C-pillar, aero-optimised&nbsp;19- and 20-inch&nbsp;alloy wheels, high-performance brakes finished in Chilli Red, dual twin-tip exhausts,&nbsp;and vertical LED taillights. There is also&nbsp;a&nbsp;revised John Cooper Works badge finished in&nbsp;the classic black, red, and white colour scheme.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With its&nbsp;sleek design, the BMW-owned British marque says that the updated&nbsp;John Cooper Works Countryman offers a&nbsp;drag coefficient of&nbsp;0.26,&nbsp;making it one of the most aerodynamic cars in its class. This, in turn, aids the 'high performance'&nbsp;2.0-litre four-cylinder engine – which belts out 296bhp and 400Nm of torque – to sprint the vehicle from 0 to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds. The new car is said to have&nbsp;a top speed of 250km/h.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>2025 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman: Interior</h2>

<p>Inside, the refreshed Mini JCW&nbsp;Countryman offers a red-and-black colour scheme beautifying&nbsp;the dashboard,&nbsp;door panels, and&nbsp;high-grade JCW sports seats. The dashboard is dominated by a&nbsp;high-resolution circular OLED display as well as toggle switches to control all driving functions. There are 12 ultrasonic sensors and four surround-view cameras in total, supporting partially automated Level 2 driving via the optional Driving Assistant Professional package. The vehicle, consequently, allows you&nbsp;to take your hands off the steering wheel on highway-like routes at speeds of up to 60 km/h. Other bits include Mini Experience modes with unique sounds, Go-Kart mode for a 'sporty driving experience', and in-car voice assistant for calls, navigation, etc.</p>

<h2>Mini Countryman Shadow Edition SUV Arrives in India</h2>

<p>Not so long ago, a brand-new Shadow Edition from Mini, based on the Countryman Cooper S JCW, was launched in the Indian market. Priced at&nbsp;Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom), the Shadow Edition uses the brand's 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol unit with TwinPower Turbo technology. Mated to a&nbsp;7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, this engine puts out 176bhp&nbsp;at 5,000 – 6,000rpm and 280Nm of peak torque at 1,350 – 4,600rpm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The car offers an 8.8-inch circular instrument console, Apple CarPlay, an integrated navigation system, wireless charging, and a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system. Safety features are&nbsp;front and passenger airbags, cornering brake control, brake assist, park distance control, three-point seatbelts, an anti-lock braking system, an emergency spare wheel, a crash sensor, cruise control, a run-flat indicator, a rearview camera, dynamic stability control (DSC), etc.&nbsp;</p>

A 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with Mini's ALL4 all-wheel-drive tech powers the new John Cooper Works Countryman. The top speed is marked at 250km/h.

<p>The Mini&nbsp;John Cooper Works 1to6 Special Edition is now off the wraps.&nbsp;It is based on the three-door John Cooper Works hatchback and comes in only one exterior colour option&nbsp;- Midnight Black. As the name suggests, the&nbsp;1to6 Special Edition is available with&nbsp;a 6-speed manual transmission that makes it a high-performance model. In addition,&nbsp;this could also be the last model from the House of Mini to feature a manual gearbox, if we go by some market reports. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same.&nbsp;In 2021, Mini brought back the option of a manual transmission, which was offered across all the models. According to the manufacturer, the&nbsp;John Cooper Works 1to6 Special Edition with manual transmission&nbsp;is limited to only 999 units.&nbsp;The special edition&nbsp;marked its public appearance at&nbsp;the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, with deliveries beginning in&nbsp;Europe, the USA, Canada, and Mexico from September 2023.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 Special Edition: Exterior</h2>

<p>Speaking of the exterior, the&nbsp;Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 Special Edition sports a host of cosmetic&nbsp;bits, such as&nbsp;a blacked-out colour scheme with chrome accents that&nbsp;replace&nbsp;the glossy black trims available with the standard model. While the Special Edition is available in only Midnight Black, the waistline finisher, large air intakes, and side scuttles are done in Piano Black.</p>

<p>In addition, the hatchback also has an edition-specific racing stripe that runs from the bonnet to the rear apron. 'One of 999' on the sunroof, C-pillar, and front fenders refers to the limited edition of the&nbsp;John Cooper Works 1to6. At the back, the vehicle features centrally-mounted dual exhaust tips, taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a manual transmission logo. The car rides on black-finished 18-inch circuit-spoked alloy wheels.</p>

<p>The interior highlights include an edition-specific '1to6' logo design on the door sills, on the floor mats, on the keys,&nbsp;on the lower half of the steering wheel as well as on the stainless steel pedals for the driver. The lettering on the manual gear-shifter is done in red. Besides,&nbsp;the red highlights continue further with a central touchscreen infotainment system.&nbsp;Other features include a digital instrument cluster, Android Auto/Apple Car Play, and automatic climate control.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The special edition hatchback is powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that is offered with the standard Mini John Cooper Works. The engine delivers 228bhp of power and 320Nm of peak torque. The transmission here is a 6-speed manual unit. According to Mini, the&nbsp;1to6 Special Edition can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 246km/h.&nbsp;</p>
