Suzuki Motorcycle India has appointed Mr Kenichi Umeda as their new Managing Director. Kenichi Umeda, with over 27 years of industry experience across different global markets, will replace Mr Satoshi Uchida and assume his new role in the company. The significant step came in alignment with the brand's resolve to develop and expand its operations in India. In his new role, Umeda will be responsible for further&nbsp;strengthening and&nbsp;expanding the company's position in both domestic&nbsp;as well as international markets. According to the company's statement, he has a unique leadership style, a customer-centric business approach, and renewed passion and commitment to Suzuki Motorcycle.

Kenichi Umeda's predecessor, Satoshi, had served the company in the capacity of&nbsp;Deputy Executive General Manager of Motorcycle Operations&nbsp;(India/Middle East/Africa) at Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan.&nbsp;

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion,&nbsp;Mr. Kenichi Umeda,&nbsp;Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, "I am excited to take on this new role and lead Suzuki Motorcycle’s operations in one of the world's largest two-wheeler markets. India is an important market for Suzuki. Delivering innovative products and solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers has been the priority for Suzuki Motorcycle India since its inception. Suzuki Motorcycles India has updated its product lineup to comply with the latest&nbsp;emission norms. The refreshed lineup comprises the Access, the Avenis, the Burgman series, the V-Strom series, the Gixxer series,&nbsp;the Katana, and the Hayabusa. All of them&nbsp;adhere to OBD2-A (on-board diagnostics) standards.&nbsp;The OBD2-A diagnostic port is claimed&nbsp;to detect&nbsp;system failures and turn&nbsp;on the console lights in case&nbsp;of any faults in the vehicle system.

Moreover, <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/suzuki-access-avenis-burgman-street-with-obd2-a-support-launched-in-india-112577/">the Access 125,&nbsp;the Avenis, and the Burgman Street </a>range are powered by E-20 fuel-compliant engines. Speaking of their pricing, the Access 125 starts at Rs&nbsp;79,400 and goes up to Rs 89,500. While the&nbsp;Suzuki&nbsp;Avenis and&nbsp;the Burgman Street are available&nbsp;at a starting price of Rs&nbsp;92,000 and Rs&nbsp;93,000, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.&nbsp;
