<p>Apart from all the thrilling action on the racetrack, the recently held Hungarian Grand Prix garnered a lot of attention for an intriguing incident that&nbsp;took place after the race. During the podium celebrations, McLaren's star driver Lando Norris accidentally knocked Max Verstappen's F1 Hungarian GP trophy over with his champagne bottle. For the second time in a row, Norris and Verstappen shared the podium, with both drivers excelling in Budapest. By issuing an apology on their official Twitter account, the McLaren team confirmed the incident. Speaking of the race results, Max Verstappen, the dominant Formula One driver, won the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday by a sizable margin as Red Bull achieved a record-setting 12 consecutive victories. Lando Norris of McLaren and Sergio Perez of Red Bull managed to finish second and third, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Max Verstappen Continues to Dominate</h2>

<p>Verstappen went on to win his seventh Grand Prix in a row to extend his winning streak. He hopes to win his third consecutive Driver's Championship during the streak, which started at the Miami Grand Prix. Lando Norris had a challenging race as&nbsp;he got caught up in the struggle between Verstappen and Hamilton, but was able to maintain his cool throughout. Norris had to contend with his own teammate Piastri, who also emerged from the pits.&nbsp;The race was evidence of Red Bull's reign of supremacy as Verstappen proceeded to pass Hamilton, who had qualified on pole for Mercedes, in the first turn itself. From that point on, he never looked back and continued to hold a lead of 33.741 seconds over Norris.&nbsp;Verstappen and Perez are in first and second place in the driver standings, and Redbull holds the top spot in the constructor's standings with 452 points. Redbull hopes to maintain this advantage. Additionally, the team went on to win its 12th straight Grand Prix, exceeding the previous mark set by McLaren in 1988.</p>

<h2>Norris Apologises to Verstappen</h2>

<p>It should be noted that Norris quickly approached Verstappen and offered an apology which was taken well by the Red Bull driver. Verstappen appeared more elated&nbsp;about the fact that he managed to claim his 44th victory and boost his edge atop the standings.&nbsp;When asked whether Lando Norris would soon be holding a race-winning trophy during the post-race interviews, he responded with a witty answer. Due to Max Verstappen's overwhelming dominance in previous Formula One Grand&nbsp;Prixs', Lando Norris remarked, "If Max retires then maybe!" This indicates that Lando believes he will only succeed if his Red Bull comrade and rival gives up competing in the top division of motorsports.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, since he was involved in the incident that eliminated both Alpine drivers, Daniel Ricciardo, who was scheduled to make his return to Formula One with AlphaTauri, lost any possibility of earning any points. Zhou Guanyu of Alfa Romeo struck Ricciardo from behind the vehicle, and Ricciardo then struck Pierre Gasly.</p>
