<p>​Mercedes-Benz is set to reintroduce its flagship performance coupe to India with the launch of the second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4Matic+ and the more track-focused GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ on June 27. This marks the return of the AMG GT lineup after a five-year hiatus, following the discontinuation of the first-generation model in 2020.&nbsp;Unveiled in August 2023, the second-gen Mercedes-AMG GT 63 marks a notable evolution from its predecessor, especially in terms of dimensions. The latest version is substantially larger, extending 182mm in length, expanding 45mm in width, and standing 66mm taller. The wheelbase has also grown by 70mm, resulting in improved cabin space and a more planted road presence. Moreover, the Pro variant boasts improved aerodynamics, larger brakes, and lightweight wheels. Both coupes showcase a blend of performance and practicality, featuring an aggressive yet streamlined profile, a long wheelbase, and short overhangs.</p><p>

Each model comes with an integrated active rear spoiler and 21-inch alloy wheels, with yellow brake callipers. The rear design is equally dynamic, with slim LED taillamps echoing the front’s signature triple-stripe lighting and a tapering roofline that flows into a wide rear stance.</p><h2>New Mercedes AMG GT 63, GT 63 Pro: Engine Options</h2><p>Both variants are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The GT 63 delivers 577bhp and 800Nm, paired with a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and AMG’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed capped at 315km/h.<br><br>The GT 63 Pro uses a higher-output version of the same engine, producing 604bhp and 850Nm.
