Francesco Bagnaia, the defending World Champion, won the opening Qatar GP. Brad Binder and Jorge Martin finished second and third in the race and Riders' standing.
Pecco Bagnaia, the defending MotoGP champion, started the race in 13th place but ended up winning in Indonesia after his main title opponent Jorge Martin crashed out of a large lead. The Indonesian GP race saw only 14 riders cross the finish line.
After starting from the pole position and finishing more than a second clear of Marco Bezzecchi, Pramac Ducati rider Jorge Martin is currently 36 points behind Francesco Bagnaia. Even though Bagnaia was injured throughout the race, he still managed to finish third.
Marc Marquez skipped the MotoGP Dutch TT at Assen after aggravating injuries from the hectic German MotoGP a week earlier. The Spaniard has already missed five of this year's eight grand prix rounds due to medical issues.
