Bentley has now pulled the wraps off their flagship model&nbsp;SUV, which now features&nbsp;more cabin space than its luxury competitors. Dubbed the&nbsp;Bentayga EWB Mulliner, the car&nbsp;is designed and curated by the Mulliner team,&nbsp;which is the British manufacturer's bespoke and coachbuilding division. The Bentley&nbsp;Bentayga EWB Mulliner incorporates&nbsp;some unique design elements, both on the outside as well as the inside. Offered with a choice of 4+1 and 4-seat configurations, the flagship SUV is said to offer&nbsp;a mix of performance and comfort. Plus, the brand's 'airline seat' specification is available as standard with it, which is delineated by the manufacturer as the most advanced seat ever fitted to a car, with 22-way adjustments, an auto climate sensing system, and postural adjustment technology.

For enhanced comfort, the rear seat can even recline to 40 degrees, while the&nbsp;climate control and ventillation can be adjusted based on the user's body temperature. With the&nbsp;postural adjustment technology, the shape of the seat can be modified to ease pressure points around the body.&nbsp;

<h2>Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner: Interior</h2>

Inside, the Bentayga EWB Mulliner gets illuminated three-dimensional treadplates and deep-pile Mulliner overmats made up of wool. Besides, the cabin offers a choice of 8 curated three-colour combinations. The tri-tone design is a Mulliner signature element, which is exclusive to the brand's pinnacle models. On offer is also the Mulliner Harmony Diamond Quilt leather upholstery (as can be seen on the seats and door panels). Other bits include the Grand Black wood veneer trim, the 3-dimensional diamond milled finish on the centre console, silver Mulliner lettering, and the Bentayga silhouette.

The Bentley Diamond Illumination feature comes as standard with the SUV, which includes 12 LED lights on each of the front doors and 22 on each of the rear doors, while the centre console houses a Mulliner clock flanked by chrome bullseye air vents. The clock features a silvered face and a bezel.

<h2>Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner: Exterior</h2>

Exterior-wise, the Bentayga EWB Mulliner gets a set of Mulliner's 22-inch wheels as standard with self-levelling wheel caps, a Mulliner's Double Diamond front grille, and a chrome front lower grille which is accompanied by Mulliner wing vents and two-tone mirror caps finished in Satin Silver and body colour. Optional bits include Mulliner Blackline Specification, which is available in the form of the Gloss Black exterior chrome work, mirror caps, and 22-inch wheels, but with the exception of the Bentley badges.

<h2>Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner: Powertrain, Underpinnings</h2>

Underneath the bonnet, the EWB SUV by Mulliner is powered by the brand's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that cranks out 542bhp and 770Nm of peak torque. As a result, the SUV tops out at 290km/h. A sprint from 0 to 100km/h is possible in 4.6 seconds. Transmission duties are carried out by an 8-speed automatic unit.

The 7-inch longer Bentayga EWB is underpinned by rear-wheel steering, Bentley Dynamic Ride, and three-chamber air springs.

Powering the  Bentayga EWB Mulliner is the brand's powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that cranks out 542bhp and 770Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are carried out by an 8-speed automatic unit.

Bentley Mulliner’s Batur is a sleek coupe that marks the debut of a new design language for the brand. The Batur is also the most powerful road-going Bentley to date, thanks to a familiar behemoth of an engine under the hood. Yup, before Bentley goes full-electric in 2030, the brand is giving the W12 a proper send-off.

In terms of design language, the round split-headlight design of the Continental GT has been replaced by a single unit that houses three main LED clusters. There’s a sleek DRL bar running above the main beams, stretched beyond the outer edge of the headlight.

The grille is also redesigned (with red detailing in the images here), while the profile shows a rather unique silhouette, thanks to an almost fastback roofline. The rear gets horizontal taillights with three LED units and a pop-up spoiler.

Inside, the Batur is slightly less brave, with a layout that is reminiscent of current <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bentley/" target="_blank">Bentleys</a>. However, it does get the option of using sustainable materials inside, like faux suede and recycled yarn carpets. If it's opulence you’re looking for, you can get certain 3D printed elements in 18-karat gold.

As mentioned earlier, powering the Batur is the iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12, which produces 729bhp and a whopping 1,000Nm of torque. It also gets an eLSD, four-wheel steering, and an active anti-roll system powered by a 48-volt system.

Bentley will only make 18 examples of the Batur, which will have a starting price of Rs 15.97 crore (before Indian taxes and duties), and yes, all 18 units have been sold out. Better luck next time!

The Bentley Mulliner Batur previews company’s future design language

The Bentley Mulliner Batur is the most powerful road-going Bentley to date and while its powertrain might be old school, it does give us an idea of what future Bentleys will look like. Only 18 units will be built, and they're already accounted for!

After the success of the Bacalar and the Blower Continuation Series, Bentley is expected to make a big announcement for its Mulliner division on July 24.

At the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentley is planning to announce the next project for its Mulliner division. The “next chapter” arrives after Bentley saw an impressive response with the Blower Continuation Series and the special Bacalar roadster. 
 
According to a statement, the company said that the new Mulliner build will "combine exceptional design, engineering, and handcraftsmanship," and that's all we know about the new project. If the past is of any indication then the next one could be something new, old, or right in between. 
 
The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bentley/">Bentley </a>Bacalar from Mulliner was introduced in 2020 with 650hp in its holster, a heavily modified Bentley Continental GT Convertible design and just two seats. Bentley only produced 12 examples of the car for 1.5 million GBP each. Interestingly, all of the 12 cars were sold before the company even dropped the wraps on them. 
 
Ahead of the Bacalar was the Blower Continuation Series that debuted in 2019 that harked back to the brand’s 1929 model. Bentley had limited the production to just 12 examples combining state-of-the-art manufacturing practices with old-school craftsmanship techniques. 
 
The new Mulliner project will be showcased alongside the new Flying Spur S, the new Continental GT Mulliner, and others. Bentley could also bring along the Blower Continuation Series Car Zero, which will race up the festival's hill climb event.
