A second Formula One circuit in Saudi Arabia, long anticipated by fans, has finally revealed some features ahead of this weekend's race. These findings provide more insight into the course's remarkable layout, which is an integral part of the Qiddiya city "megaproject" that has been under development since 2019. The breathtaking initial turn, 'Blade,' which reaches the height of a 20-story building, is one of 21 corners that the Qiddiya Speed Park is scheduled to present. This spectacular racing track was designed in part by Tilke Gmbh, with assistance from Alexander Wurz, a former Formula One driver. Parts of the track will actually run alongside the world's tallest and fastest rollercoaster, 'Falcon,' which is located in the Qiddiya Six Flags theme park.

<h2>About the New Track</h2>

Incorporating features of both open circuit and street racing, the track features a segment that weaves through the modern architecture of the city and a specialised high-speed circuit that goes by a number of leisure, entertainment, and hospitality hotspots, such as a water park and a theme park.

Instead of the usual grandstands, spectators can enjoy the action from higher terraces. Due to the strategic elevation, spectators are brought significantly closer to the track, providing an immersive experience for motorsport aficionados and affording several vantage points right on the edge of the racing action.

This plan goes above and beyond the current trend of merging racetracks with entertainment venues, an idea that has been successful in cities like Las Vegas and Miami. There is a city-wide construction boom going on right now, and the circuit has always been a key component of highly developed urban entertainment areas.
